History
Orion's family used to be powerful and influential nobles in Astrum's kingdom, but they were banished after it was discovered they were using some Unsavory Means to boost themselves even further. This was Rather Upsetting after they had been serving the royals for centuries but they saw a chance to redeem themselves after the throne was usurped in a rebellion lead by the Astrellas who believed their son was a more worthy successor due to his freakishly powerful aptitude for star magic, considered a blessing by their gods, while the current princess had shown none so far. In attempt to get into the new ruling family's good graces, Orion's parents sent their youngest and most magically-inclined child to serve them as a gift and peace offering. This just so happened to be Orion and man were they not stoked about that development. :[
After proving themself capable enough, Orion was eventually accepted as the new prince, Zan's, bodyguard and magical instructor, which was about as Suffering From Success as you can get, in Orion's oh so humble opinion. Buuut this ended up being relatively short lived anyway since supporters of the og royal family managed to kidnap Zan and spirited him away to some other planet after sealing both his memories and powers. Sooo, that was a bit of a failure on the bodyguard's part, whoops, and now Orion needs to find him fast before the Astrellas lose their patience and kill both them and their entire family in retribution. :[[[

- Which is sort of true actually, they are spoiled and adjusting to a new life of servitude after that was Rough
- They are consistently blown away by technological advancements in other places and prefers it over magic tbh
- Legs on land, fins in water kinda thing going on here
- They're a vegetarian
- Orion doesn't actually care about the whole Restore Family Honor & Power thing, they just want to lay around and that is as perfectly valid in the middle of nowhere as it would be anywhere else. And less work for them personally
- They did like Zan and also not being murdered by Zan's parents so they are taking this search thing seriously though. They just have very few leads and get sidetracked sometimes
- They're a terrible singer which they find terribly embarrassing, it does not suit their image :(
