Amber Rivers

Amberson was born on November 10th, 1816, in Chinon, France. His parents are Lawrence Rivières and Janice Baudin, who both worked as medics throughout their lives. His elder half-brother, Silvain, was born four years prior. Lawrence, the younger brother himself, always put more pressure on Amber. When it came to teaching the boy music, Amber could not grasp playing the piano. His grandfather was a spectacular pianist, and at the idea of not being able to live up to his father's expectations, Amber ran away from home at the age of 16.

After living on the streets for months, a nobleman named Francis Lamar took Amber in, under the condition of repaying Francis with his body. As a beta-presenting demon, and Francis an alpha-presenting one, Amber soon developed an energy inside of him. However, a carriage crash took that energy away. Amber, expecting Francis to hate him due to his failure, ran away once again. He found refruge with his uncle Cecil, who ran an inn in the outskirts of Paris. It was then that Amber decided to follow the career paths of his parents and train to be a doctor.

After over a century of working as a doctor, Amber finally grew to be burned out by such a career. After moving from California to London in 1969, Amber found himself willing to prove himself as more than a pretty face (as Francis always thought of him as). But, with a fear of failure and a anxious need to be accepted for who he was, Amber could only sell his body to whatever man wanted it. One of his clients, Alfie Rees, caught his eye. After many nights spent together, the two started a legitimate relationship. Alfie always had a quick-temper, and an unhealthy reliance on drugs. After just two years, the elder man snapped. He attempted to kill Amber one night, and after fleeing for his life, Amber thought of himself as being unloved. He stayed with his childhood best friend, Alfred Astai, until he could get himself back on his feet. It was during this time that Amber saw a performance by David Bowie on the television, and his interest in performance and music was sparked.
