Personality

Chuya is playful and childish, not one to take anything seriously. She may be a bit shy at first, but bring up something she adores and she can ramble on and on for hours. She's often seen as the baby of the friend group, immature and naive. She's full of energy and it takes a lot to tire her out. She's terrible at hiding her emotions, her heart always on her sleeve. She's predictable, always one to choose the easiest answer instead of having to think critically. She likes to think people are inherently good, always assuming the best of them unless proven otherwise. She's not afraid to cry in front of others, unaware of what her vulnerability could be interpreted as.

Chuya was born in Reading, Uk. She had only managed to live there until she was five years old, her parents dying in a terrible accident. Due to this she and her sister had to live with their aunt in Japan. Her aunt wasn't a kind woman, often being needlessly cruel to her sister. Because of this Chuya didn't like staying at home, instead opting to run off anywhere that would entertain her. The place she frequented the most was the local arcade, able to pass hours and hours there. She would ask her cousin for any kind of change she could get, her skill in rhythm games specifically growing exponentially.

Soon she took over the top scores in each Rythm game cabinet, sometimes even playing the rhythm in her head during class to keep herself entertained. It wasn't much more than a hobby and an escape to her, never viewing it as anything she could possibly make into a career. In fact, she was the opposite, focusing on the here and now, not wanting to dwell on her future and what it may bring.

Despite this, her talent became something she was noticed for at the arcade, with people gathering around her when she played. Her Junior High friends joked about the idea of her getting into Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Rythm Game Geek, but she always said there was someone likely better than her. As well as with her grades, she didn't think such a prestigious academy would bother looking her way. Which made it such a surprise when the letter did come, her and her sister reading it with bated breath. She indeed had been scouted and was to enroll into the next school year as the Ultimate Rythm Game Player..

Everything else was a blur to her after that, having to prepare what little belongings she had to attend such a big shot school...

Her sister insisted on walking with her, but the school staff would not let her past the gates. Nonetheless she said goodbye, wishing her sister a good first day.

The Tragedy soon followed, Chuya never being seen again. Her sister still searches for her, not wanting to entertain the idea that she may have passed on.

"Oh me? I'm Chuya Ikeda! The Ultimate Rythm Game Player or something..? It's really not a big deal, honestly!"

"When we get out of here I want you to meet my sister, she's the best person in the whole wide world! I bet she'd love you!"
