Relations

Before the Island, Metas home life consisted of himself and his wife, Elizabeth, in their small 1 bedroom apartment. Meta was well known in his community being the Owner of a deli in the heart of a park in their hometown. He operated his deli with his wife and his best friend. Many days would go by where he'd service old and new customers, never having a worry, doubt, or fear anymore over ever experiencing his previous life ever again. 

Elizabeth was the love of his life. Despite their relationship being forced upon at a young age, they both had a common goal which later turned into a trust, eventually a bond. Meta didn't engage with many others and neither did Elizabeth. They were very reliant on each other until they arrived to their current home town.  From there, they decided to take to the customs of Humanity and make their engagements and eventually marry.  Eventually meeting his best friend, officially settling into the town of Gin Din, and opening their Deli.

Meta's Best Friend is a male atomie who identity is unknown in the story and is presumably helping Elizabeth run the deli during Metas leave.

Stephen was a new customer for Meta at the time, and became a short term regularly due to Stephen engaging with Meta over a small proposition that Meta felt he needed to be a part of. What became of this is what made Meta arrive at the Island in a very short time span.

On the Island, Meta's introduction to the various creatures has concerned him greatly, but like Stephen, he's learned that many of them are relatively harmless. That said, his disappointment to arriving on the Island has made him more bitter than usual, being more aggressive and a bit hostile towards Stephen and his newfound companions. 

Meta doesn't particularly enjoy Stephens company. He knows Stephen is a young adult and assumes he's inexperienced with the world, as shown by his care free attitude. Often wishing that Stephen would stop invading Metas personal space and maybe shut his mouth every once in a while. That said, Stephen is Meta's few reminder of home so he's not quickly one to permanently abandon Stephen.

Ronnie and Chestler are interesting creatures to Meta. He sees them more of a nuisance, however, knows that even just their sizes will be beneficial to getting his and Stephens Journey over with. Despite not wanting to engage with them often, he finds himself dealing with their shenanigans more than he'd like to admit.

Beyond Stephen's Crew, Meta will deal with any and all newcomers that Stephen will make his group meet with. He won't fault them tho, any friend of Stephen will be an acquaintance of Metas.
