Relations

Before the Island, Stephen didn't really have many long-term companions. Most of them could have been seen as colleagues or short term friends with benefits. Despite being part of a large family, Stephen didn't have much of a relationship with his siblings, which he believes was due to the age gap between him and his next older sibling. Other than with his twin Sister, Denien, whom the 2 were almost inseparable until they both started branching out their interests. Though, their interests ended up being similar, it further strengthen their bond while also teaching them to be more independent. 

Stephen then met Meta through his Deli, and after some unforeseen circumstances, Stephen found a friend whom had no choice but to spend his time with Stephen. 

Upon the arrival to The Island, Stephen had determine to try to maintain more long term relationships, starting with Meta. Stephen generally tries to have Meta tag along with Stephen with the start of their adventure, with a few early failed attempts. But as time goes further on, Stephen is able to convince Meta to engage with him and their adventure more and more. 

Stephen was quick to accept the oddities that are Ronnie and Chestler, at least soon as he found out they're lovable idiots who weren't going to eat Stephen and Meta. As of now, Stephen accepts Ronnie and Chestler into his group adventure and willing to use their resources and abilities to aid him in his quest to deliver the packages.

Wellex can be seen as Stephen's "boss," however, Wellex has no real influence on how Stephen makes his decisions to deliver the package. Wellex is just along for the ride. Stephen doesn't mind. The more the merrier and Stephen has always been a cat person so having a cat along is a bonus for him.

Stephen doesn't know Otten very well but he can see that Otten has had a very rough time lately. Especially seeing the bit of prejudice that Ronnie and Chestler have towards him but Stephen believes that Otten is on the path of righteousness. Stephen accepts Otten on his delivery adventure and hopes to help Otten have a more positive outlook on life.  

Beyond his current crew, Stephen is willing to accept any and all new companions who are willing to ask for his assistance and is willing to embrace them all with open arms and ears.

Personal History

Stephen grew up in a large household. While the rest of the family had a strong bond with one another as well as with extended Family, Stephen was the runt of the litter and generally left out of most of the more important parts of the "family business." It didn't help when Stephen was born, his next oldest Sibling, not including Denien, was about 17 years older than him. That being said, he wasn't left out about the details of the "family business." Just was never involved in the actual events of it. This put a bit of a strain between Stephen and his siblings, as well as his father, whom were never home for more than a few days at a time before embarking for weeks to months at a time taking care of business. 

Regardless of the distance between them, Stephen and his sister, Denien, still grew up in a loving home, being cared and loved by his mother. A mother who allowed Stephen to learn about his world and explore it the way he wanted too. This allowed Stephen to have the ability to explore anything he comes across with great confidence. Especially alongside his sister, he was never alone. 

Stephen has never tried to keep any romantic relationships. People have tried but he's too caught up wanting to do things with too many people to commit to one person. That said, he's never kept up any friendships either. Most of his time was spent with his sister, Denien, and also learning about the "family business."

As a young adult, Stephen maintains his can-do attitude but as he enters the 'real world,' he begins to experience first hand the consequences of being part of his families traditions and begins to questions what he actually wants to do and if everything he's learned so far will have a much greater negative impact to his future than he believes it will. He's not proud of it of his upbringing but he's not ashamed either. Before being able to put any of it to the test, Stephen is soon followed by the introduction of Meta and not long after, his arrival to the Island.
