The origins of the Awesome alternate lies in a forum called Vagrant Epochers. Though I believe it is still online, it is deserted, and most of the forum hidden, so it's not worth checking it out.
Through several forum games and roleplays, an existence of 'Awesome' and 'Corruption' came into being, awkward counterparts of which too much of either is not great. Speedy ended up the Embodiment of Awesome.
It is then that I decided that this VE!Speedy, or Awesome!Speedy, is not the same as my regular one. Though they look nigh-identical, this Speedy prefers to indulge in using his Awesome abilities, rather than to focus on his elemental ones.
Old bio:
As the embodiment of the force known as Awesome, Speedy found himself taking the reins on spreading Awesome throughout the location only known as VE. Little did he know that there was also a Corrupted entity there.. he first tried to see if there was a sort of hierarchy, but that seemed to led to a danmaku craze, considering VE's love for the Touhou game series. Some new members wound up getting right in the middle of it all, and found out he was behind most of it.. He got a pretty good view at how things were going on because of this 'EoVE' incident, and what was there suited him just fine. Ofcourse, when the embodiment of Corruption came in sight, the peace he thought would occur quickly changed into a bloody battle.. or it would have, if they didn't decide on having a peaceful solution. They instead became rivals, and you could almost say sort of friends.. which unfortunately caused yet another incident, as there were people who couldn't agree with this balancing act, fearing it would lead to terrible consequences. But that is a story for another time. This Speedy has almost the same abilities as the Speedy from Crossroads, except that most of his abilities are fueled by the Awesome energies coursing through his body. Elementalwise, his abilities are far weaker, as he is untrained in using them normally. They look pretty much the same, but are still different people.
