A jokester at heart, Eiri's abilities of choice are subtler than what most would expect: she is able to manipulate someone's confidence or mood, swaying their decision in the process. This power comes in handy both when allies face frightening scenarios, or when uncooperative characters need some convincing. 

Her powers can also physically manifest, albeit seemingly only when under emotional distress. The outcome ranges from a small drop in temperature to mass-freezing her surroundings within a certain radius; The outburst's severity scales with her distress. Ironically she sometimes gets frustrated because she cannot manipulate her own mood. She actively tries to harness this side of her power as well, but is unable to at this point in time.

Yous’ personality differs depending on his current form. As his younger, stagnant self, he is all heart, much less reserved and near buoyant, eager to please. As his triggered self, his thought process is compromised by more logic than the heart. 

Although Yous likes to argue he is the same person throughout, something akin to memory loss occurs during the change. While he does remember everything that happens interchanging between his double selves, some of the logic and mood does not transfer to the other self. Meaning he may remember what he did but not understand why he did so or what for exactly. This provides him with a lot of grey areas when it comes to making excuses. But excuses he rarely makes. 

His friends joke that his triggered self is a Baked Alaska. He hates the nickname but likes the dessert.
