Overview

In a few words, Elo can be described as just A Good Bean™. She's extremely optimistic to a fault, childish and has a bit of a one track mind - once she starts thinking about and obsessing over something you've lost her, because that's all she's gonna be talking about for the week.

Her constant positivity and upbeat demeanor is somewhat infectious, and as such she does her best to try to cheer everyone on, and to keep everyone smiling. She's happy and always willing to help - however she is not stupid. While sometimes she can get swept away in a bit of a fixation on something and can be a little bit overwhelming, she is observant enough to realise when she makes others uncomfortable, and is able to reign herself in enough to keep others comfortable and at peace.

She's very empathetic, and cannot stand when others are struggling. Though she can come across as annoying to some because of this and her habit of butting in and trying to keep a room lively, this doesn't bother her. She's aware of what some think about her, but just chooses to tackle issues with positivity and hope, rather than despondence and apathy.

A Brief Overview

Elo doesn't have a very long, or overly complex story - she lives pretty drama free and chilled out.

She was born to two loving parents in a mangrove swamp village residing on the southern hemisphere of Mobius somewhere. As a little tadpole, she knew that she wanted to make people smile, make people happy, and so she decided to make that a priority as she got older!

When she was a teenager, she would constantly explore the mangroves of the swamp, making friends with smaller frogs, watching insects, and napping in the tangles roots. It's what got her her sense of adventure, and inability to stay in one place for too long - although no matter what she'd always return home, a trait that persists in her life.

Nowadays, Elo likes to travel. Her girlfriend is an immortal being who's been charged with watching over the mortal plain, so no matter where Elo is, Kaya is able to find her, which honestly is pretty comforting knowing that if things were to go south, Kaya would protect her. Though nothing bad has happened - and Kaya stays out of Elo's buisness unless she's called upon, since she likes being independent.

That's kinda it!! Elo just kinda wanders around, travelling and making new friends. She likes to make people smile, and enjoys teaching people sign where she can. She lives a pretty simple, happy life!

• Elo is a character that doesn't really have a big, complex story, and originally just existed because I loved to draw her and she made me happy. Then she demanded I give her life and now while her story is very simple, she exists in my world and lore!
• She's kinda adjacent to a self insert tbh. A lot of her mannerisms (flappy hands, non-verbal, being childish, abbreviating stuff) are just my own mannerisms cranked up a little
• When I originally designed her, I wasn't sure if I was gonna keep her, or if I liked her design. I slept on it, and now shes my most beloved character. Wild!!! Glad she's still with me <3
