If you're ever in the snowy mountains, there's a chance you might hear little jingles of sleigh bells and see a light silhouette blending in with the snow. It's probably Silver, an old lumberjack that is in high spirits and has a generous heart. He's willing to find the homes of anyone who gets lost, pulling them along on his sleigh. No amount of snow is too much for Silver, and he has the perfect amount of endurance and fur to brace the cold for many days.

What he finds difficult to handle is the social issues towards dull babs. Nearly having no vibrancy at all, other mantibabs have given him a lot of flack for it. Nevertheless that doesn't stop his giving towards them, showering children with toys they've always dreamt of, and folk around town things they've needed for a long while. Because of his very jolly and kind nature, people in his town are warm towards him and even look forward to seeing him despite his dull coat.

In the big city nearby, he's found favor from a famous pastel coat bab by the name of Raine, which being friends with such a bab has given him an easier time walking around the city. Silver works at Raine's cafe within Babalicious Bakery as a barastia, making the most delicious of lattes and especially hot cocoa that warms the heart. He's still not very used to interacting with a lot of people even though he's worked there for years, but he feels glad that city folk have been more accepting of dull babs over time. Feel free to carry a conversation with Silver should you drop by the cafe, as he gives some great advice!

While it might be shocking to see literally a silver bab at first, don't be quick to turn away. You never know what Silver might have wrapped up just for you-- it could be the gift of your dreams!

✩Mini Backstory

Born and raised in the mountains, Silver was named such after the mountain his family used to live on, called Mount Silver. Although surprised at his dull coat, almost all his family members were still loving towards him and spoiled him with many gifts and tasty goodies. However back in the day, mantibabs were much less tolerable of dull coats, so for most of his childhood, Silver was protected under the wings of his many family members. There wasn't a time when he was without a cousin or uncle ready to defend him from bullies.

By adolescence, his parents moved to a much hotter place where they had his brother, Kernel. In the meantime, Silver stayed up in the mountains with his uncles and aunts. Many cousins moved into the big city or other places, so Silver didn't have as much of a defense towards other babs that hated him for his coat alone. It was a rough patch to get by, and Silver would often find himself running into the woods to escape angry mobs. He would spend months in the woods alone, having to learn how to gather food and chop wood to keep warm during the frost biting nights.

His aunts and uncles spent weeks trying to find him, and snuck him back into town during the night. This went on for many years, and Silver became withdrawn from society after having to run away so many times. Eventually he built himself a cabin to stay in and lay low, hoping for a day babs would somehow get pass their stigmas toward dull babs.

It wasn't until his younger brother came into town did Silver ever wander back into a populated place. By then, Silver's hopes seemed to come true, being greeted by many people around the area as opposed to torches and pitchforks. Word seemed to have been going around about a hard-working lumberjack staying in the mountains, and much to Silver's surprise, a legend was made about him by the townspeople. It wasn't long before Silver moved in and made many friends around there.

As the years passed and Silver got more comfortable being around other babs and creatures, he ventured into the big city. It was scary at first, but after meeting Raine, his days there also gotten easier and kinder. Now having his niece live with him, it seems Silver's lonely days are almost over. He still escapes time to time into the mountains, but nowadays it's more so to chop down a bunch of trees to supply wood to the townsfolk below.
