Angela

Princess Angela Wonderchan Sakurablossom is a member of a race of anthropormorphic tardigrades who live in a catacomb village accessed through the sewers. She's the self-appointed "Princess" of her village, which doesn't really mean much. Her race can survive anywhere, but they much prefer the damp coolness of their underground village, where they have a nice ecosystem of moss farms and underground magical wildlife. They also have a strong sense of community, and underground they don't need to use glamors. Angela likes to make trips to the surface often, for her hobby: anime, manga, and cosplay! She's definitely the best dressed in her village! 

Angela's obsession started when she first wandered up to the surface world at a young age, walking directly into Dresserton Comic-con! She even bumped into monsters not using their glamors, pretending to be in cosplay, and meeting monster-people other than Tardigradekin and learning about cultures that she wasn't part of has been really fun for her, so she's really passionate about it. She decided her goal in life was to be an Anthropologist and study other cultures.

Even though you'll meet her and assume she only really obsesses with Japanese culture, she's actually surprisingly knowledgeable in the cultural practices of SO MANY monster people. Out of every non-demon protagonist, she's the party member who is the most familiar with demon culture, much to Amvira's surprise.

• Gaku's a little uncomfortable around Angela at first, since she sorta fetishizes Japanese culture, but he warms up to her since she's genuinely interested in learning about it as well as life as a member of the Kagegawa clan.
• Due to Gaku's influence, Angela becomes less of a weeaboo and more of a healthy anime fan over time.
• Angela chews on her wig when she's stressed.
• If you recruit both Angela and Amin, they eventually start dating.
• "A-Amin senpai... you make my kokoro go doki doki!"
• Angela is slightly self-conscious about her size, which is why she writes her height as being " 5'13"." Technically it's not a lie. ^{(she's 6'1")}
• Angela is incredibly resourceful and can make effective cosplays out of just about anything. With proper practice she could become a master of disguise.
• Angela owns several wigs, including a Hatsune Miku wig.
• She has two sets of teeth, and her second, more menacing pair are revealed when she folds her outer set outwards.

In-Game Fighting Style

Angela is the absolute definition of a meat-shield. Her defensive stats, particularly her health, are incredibly high, but her attack and magic power is not that great. Despite being a tank, she also lacks baseline crowd control abilities, such as stuns and taunts, but makes up for it with defensive abilities such as shields, self-heals, and even an ability that lets her come back to life once per battle. Because of this, it may actually be optimal to give her items to increase her attack damage so that she can become a fairly powerful bruiser.

Her promotions are Grizzly Bear and Princess. Grizzly Bear gives her some much needed attack power and some crowd control, albeit on longer cooldowns than other crowd control abilities. Princess gives her some support abilities, helping out allies with area-of-effect buffs.
