PersonalitySirina is an archetypical Crime Boss. Her goals are to get as rich and powerful as she can be, not caring about who she steps on in her way. She's a bit of a genius when it comes to diplomacy and running a criminal organization, and she could probably apply that genius in ways to become rich and powerful legitimately, but to her, this is just too much fun.

Sirina is a defined Psychopath who feels little remorse and empathy, and is easily bored. While she doesn't relate to other's emotions, she's a good actor and liar.
Magic User StatusWarlock. No actual magic.
Powers/SkillsSirina uses magical artifacts that she's acquired to draw power from Demiurges and convert it into a drug. While using the drug, she is effectively a magic user. She commands powers that aren't strictly "magic" and therefore can somewhat bypass natural magic resistance. She also carries equipment created by enchanters to further augment her power. Also, she's just hella strong.

Biography

Sirina is a leader of a notorious criminal organization in Dresserton and the surrounding area. In addition to illegal arms trades, they've developed a secret technique that has earned them quite the reputation. By channeling the powers of Demiurges into drug-form, they can sell it to fledgeling spellcasters and anyone else who wants a taste of power. The drug grants great magical power, but is potentially maddening and highly addictive; it can really make you toe the line between life and a fate worse than death.

Sirina herself has been active as a crime lord for a decade. There's been theories, that in her earlier life she'd be downtrodded on and now wants to be on the top, that she was poor as a child and now vows never to be without money again, or even just that she was raised by rich parents and became spoiled and entitled as a result. No, the truth is, she's a certified psychopath from a fairly regular family who, as early as eight years old, has decided that her goal in life was to rule and step on others as a crime lord.

While her charisma and intelligence was such that getting money and allies wasn't hard for her, it was a challenge to earn a reputation in Dresserton as long as the Vampire Mafia continued to operate as they had for hundreds of years. But, their reputation as villainous criminals was starting to fade on its own with Mrs. Paula going soft, and Sirina had invested heavily into finding a niche she could fill, finally paying off when her crew earned an Art for stealing the power of Demiurges, giving her an addictive product to earn lots of money, but also a way of further controlling her own minions.

Trivia

In-Game Fighting Style

  • Cyclopses are adapted for a coastal life. They can spend up to two hours underwater, and can dive to depths of up to 200 feet.
  • To aid them with their semi-aquatic lifestyle, they have webbed fingers and smooth skin. They are also hairless from the neck down, and even the hair on top of their head has special silk-like properties to reduce drag.
  • Cyclopses have very good vision too. Even if they lack depth perception, they can still estimate distances fairly well.
  • The Cyclops from the Oddysey was actually reportedly "very handsome," although he was also an uneducated farmer.
  • It's important for a crime lord to maintain the illusion of being a pillar of the community. She dresses up as Santa during the holidays and lets the kids take photos with them on her lap.
  • She loves children and is really good with them, but feels like she shouldn't have any as it will get in the way of her ambition. She feels sad about this sometimes.
  • The local P.D are very aware she's a crime lord, but due to a combination of lawyers and intimidating anyone who could go forward with information about her, they can't book her with any crimes.
  • After being defeated by the protagonists, she acknowledges Amvira's power and influence, and decides to lay low for a bit, not actively pursuing any plans and even acting as a crime informant for her. She eventually starts a new evil plan that forces the protagonists into a rematch.
  • Like most Giant species, Sirina was the size of a normal baby when born, above average height as a kid, did most of her growing through puberty, and only recently reached her peak height.
  • Sirina laughs like a snooty anime girl
  • All of her outfits and accessories have to be made to fit her normal size, and are shrunk down with her when she shrinks herself. If she were to wear something made for a normal human while shrunken down, it would not grow with her when she changes size.
  • No eyebrows, but she has green eyelashes

While far from being the first boss in the game, Sirina will be the first boss to pose a serious challenge. Defeating her ends the second act in the game, and players will need to do some serious planning to take her out. Her abilities hit in massive areas, she has a mix of physical and magic attacks, and she has more than a few abilities that completely bypass magic resist to deal damage. If you spread your team out, and retreat when necessary, you can take her out. But be careful... when her minigun is fully reloaded, that can literally one-shot some characters! Or, well, 20 shot them. Whatever.
