Botis is an ancient and powerful demon whose sole purpose is to collect human souls for the Devil. He can only be summoned by humans with powerful spiritual energy and he only makes deals that require him to kill humans. His black magic is very powerful and he cultivates it by devouring other demons or witches. Botis is normally in his monstrous form as he hates looking like a human, but ever since a witch severely weakened him centuries ago, he became stuck in his human form. He's normally stoic and mature, but his current state annoys him to no end and has made him bitter over the years. Stripped of his power and status, Botis now craves vengeance.
He eventually gets his chance when he meets Milly, a descendant of the witch who sealed him away. Milly came to kill him once and for all, but she isn't strong enough to do so yet. Botis uses this to his advantage as he slowly concocts a plan to get his revenge.

Story
Nobody knows when Botis actually appeared in Hell, but it was a very long time ago. He arrived seemingly out of nowhere and quickly rose in power due to his brutal methods of collecting souls. The Devil seemed to have an interest in him that no other demon had ever seen before. Everytime someone would try to look into Botis's past, they would mysteriously disappear and never return. The other demons were scared of Botis for this reason and left him alone most of the time. Botis himself didn't care for the other demons, he just wanted to get stronger and stronger. Unbeknownst to anyone except the Devil, Botis grew to be so strong because he didn't just aborb human souls. He ate the souls of other demons and witches too. He became a very reliable pawn to the Devil very early on.
One day, he was summoned by a group of witches for a very interesting task. The group of witches wanted Botis to kill just one person, and this person was considered a powerful witch, arguably the most powerful witch of their time. Botis was immediately intrigued since absorbing such a soul would give him an enormous power boost. But it also came with risks. Killing such a witch would not be easy, so Botis asked for a deal. If Botis was unable to absorb this witch's soul, then he demanded all the souls of the family of witches who summoned him. The family reluctantly agreed, so Botis went to work. To his surprise, the powerful witch he was after was just a 20 year old woman. Botis thought it would be an easy job, but he was sorely mistaken. He had been collecting souls for centuries already, but he had never come across one so powerful. He had met his equal, and although Botis was able to cast a curse on the witch to kill her, the witch was able to seal him away. In the end, Botis was not able to absorb her soul, and he spent the next 300 years sealed away and forgotten.
That is, until he was discovered by one of the witch's descendants.

Milly
Botis was the demon who cursed Milly's bloodline to begin with. He's a very bitter individual who wanted to kill Milly when they first met. But thanks to her bracelet, Botis is unable to touch her. As Milly tried time and time again to cast magic on him, Botis grew frustrated at her lack of magical prowess. He eventually got so fed up that he decided to teach Milly magic instead since she obviously couldn't teach herself. This began a strange teacher-student relationship even though they were still enemies. As time progressed and they spent more time together, their relationship got even more complicated. Now, they don't know what to call each other.
Leraje
Botis hates Leraje because he's an incubus and Leraje dislikes Botis because he thinks he's an arrogant prick. However, since Leraje is the only demon who found Botis after he was sealed, they became mutaully tolerable of each other. Leraje is the only person who visits Botis and keeps him up to date with things since Botis doesn't want word to spread about his defeat to a witch. They're not exactly friendly, but they can at least relate to each other.
Father Noah
Noah is a priest that was tasked to exorcise Botis from the place he was sealed in. He's not very good at it though, and Botis sees him more as an annoyance than a threat. He didn't even show himself to Noah until Milly came along and got his attention. Nonetheless, Botis doesn't like priests and Noah isn't an exception. If it weren't for his divine protection, Botis would kill him without hesitation.
Emma
Emma was the witch who originally sealed Botis away all those years ago. He holds a deep hatred for her and regrets not killing her with his own hands. Her soul now resides in Milly's bracelet along with all of her magic, and Botis wants to destroy it to absorb her soul. Emma's soul is also still conscious in the bracelet, and the hatred is mutual. She wants Botis dead and is not above using her descendants to do it.
