"Everything will be alright, you'll see!"

A happy boy who loves painting. He really wants to find out the secret of Koa's paints and never wants to grow up. He always tries his best to make everybody happy and smile. When he sulks, he takes revenge by painting dumb weather onto those he's mad at. He likes to play pranks and is a bit mischievous; but would never harm anyone.

Magical art supplies. Big paintbrush he uses as a flying broom. Paint-stained clothes, very colourful, never wears matching socks. Faded hair colour on one side. Very expressive.

History

Jael's average day consists of checking up on all his friends (countless), spending time with Koa (his best friend!), painting the sky while spending more time with Koa (his best friend!), and spending time with Koa after (that's his best friend!). He paints the sky with his big paintbrush, leaving colourful footprints all around when he once again accidentally stepped into a paint bucket.

Koa would never lie to Jael, right?

Jael never knew that Koa even could. When he finds out that Koa has been keeping a dark secret from him that he could have helped him with, he feels an anger he has not known before. Does Koa even think of him as a friend if he doesn't trust Jael? So what if the sky isn't being painted! If Koa suffers because of it, then Jael will simply not paint it!

When they set out to fix things together, Jael has to learn a lot of uncomfortable truths about the world, and himself ... but with Koa by his side, surely he will be alright.

Childhood

Jael and Koa know each other from when Jael first became the skypainter. At first, Koa was pretty annoyed with him - too many watt in that smile and too many miles a minute in Jael's words. But over time, Jael managed to grow on him, and their friendship has become the most precious to Jael.
