Luke is the second youngest Draki child, only Chester is younger. His father openly neglected and verbally abused both of them, Luke standing between his dad and Chester most of the time. He's always been the guardian.
Referred to as the Golden Boy, he first took in an orphan boy named Chuck when he met the kid arguing with his uncle on the street about having no-where to go. That uncle being a Draki goon, Luke figured he could take him in. This pissed his dad off, but his mother allowed it.
Luke and Chuck then stumbled on Wooley while in Washington and brought him back with them.
That really pissed off his dad, who told him to get the orphans out or else.
Luke and the other two hatched a plan to create the Golden Colubrids, and in renovating the building, found Fry sleeping inside. Taking him in enraged his father, and Luke had enough, as soon as the renovation was finished Luke moved out of the family manor at age 14, starting the GC.

He has an affinity for amphibians, and his primary pets are North American toads, though he does have a few tiger salamanders, his main buddy in '58 is Seinor Froggington, a toad.

He met the love of his life as a little kid, that girl being Luna, and the pair have been inseparable since then, starting dating officially at sixteen, but frankly they'd practically been since they were four. They have some troubles having a kid, Luna having a miscarriage at one point, but Luke was NOTHING but supportive and loving, even breaking into her house to make sure she wasn't alone at one point... she was grateful.
They eventually have two sons, Leone, then Sawyer, who will one day run the GC.

Luke is cunning, observant, and bold, he had little qualms about speaking his damn mind, whether Jesse was around or not.
He's also red-green color blind which makes it fun to try and help the kids color... they hide things in the red and green sometimes.
He is actually probably the closest brother to Jesse, being able to re-connect to him after he calms down at age 23. He in fact even trusts Jesse around the GC and his kids much sooner than the other brothers do, which Jesse appreciates IMMENSELY and helps to heal him.
Luke is also very caring, having adopted multiple street urchins into his crew when he himself was only a teenager. By 19 he was already a better father than his own.
He looks out for his boys

He has a tattoo on his back, it was originally just the golden colubrid, but after a life changing event in 1958, he got the phoenix incorporated into it. Both were done by his uncle Giuseppe.

Luke has scars on the left side of his face from a road accident, Luke was dragged under a car for a few feet and it scratched his face up pretty bad.
