Childhood:

His father a medicine cat, and his mother a warrior, there were some complications surrounding their son. Being the only surviving kit of their litter, when the father received a prophecy foretelling that his son is destined to destroy... He covered it up, letting the clan believe Autumnkit would lead the clan to greatness. Autumnpaw was always troublesome as a kid. It was suspected that he had interacted with demons of the dark forest at a young age, and was influenced by them. The leader of Oceanclan at the time was pretty lax, too passive, and that jumpstarted his desire to lead the clan one day.

Warrior life:

While Autumnfang was working his way up to deputy, he grew to care about Emberpelt. The to would get along and she seemed to be the only cat he treated with real respect. The two (unnamed) apprentices he trained learned the brutal skills that he had picked up from the dark forest. In a battle with Treeclan, he first faced who would soon be his mortal enemy, Barkstorm. He sliced one of Barkstorm's ears at the tip, and vowed to do the same to the other ear. He later found Barkstorm was also speaking to dark forest demons, but was unable to face him there.

Leadership

Autumnstar came into power around the same time Barkstar did. He lead a dark and cruel era of Oceanclan, training his cats for battle while the two leaders tried to kill each other. Many cats from both clans were killed in these battles, including the two cats that Autumnstar had mentored. The clan was confused, previously believing Autumnstar to be their saviour. Now they had mixed faith in Starclan and fear of their leader and the future. During this time, Emberpelt had Firekit, but Autumnstar wasnt very keen on having kids. While Firekit was in the nursery, he took Crowpaw as his apprentice. The two got along very well, sharing the same disregard fo the warrior code and instinct to kill. This upset his son, and caused a rivalry between Crowpaw and Firepaw. Autumnstar encouraged the two to argue and fight with each other, and praised Crowpaw for winning many of those spats. When Crowpaw became Crowtalon, they stayed close and she eventually was appointed deputy much to Firespots' dismay. Crowtalon was hungry for power, and when Autumnstar was on his last life she let the information slip to Treeclan. When Barkstar got ahold of him, she didn't do anything to interfere and let her leader die. Autumnstar never knew this plot, but Firespots did and also didnt interfere. In his final moments, Barkstar sliced both Autumnstar's ears as revenge and sent him to the dark forest once and for all.
