Saskia was a gift from Xander's boss. Sas's job is to transport heavy weapons, help pull tanks and scout cars out of the snow, and even maul someone to death if need be. She's a very loyal and faithful bear who will wake up and do her job when told, but she often tries to sleep very long hours. 

She's also very warm and is willing to hug anyone who is freezing in the snow. Of course, this doesn't always work since most people run away at the sight of a bear and freeze anyway. This doesn't stop Sas from being friendly and polite, though; she'll wave to strangers even if they don't wave back.

Her favorite food is honey and her favorite drink is, well, vodka.
