Macaroni

Childhood

Macaroni was born in a lab on a planet simply labelled 'The Recycle Planet'. Her biological mother was one of the scientists in that lab that volunteered to be a part of an experiment. Since she spent most of her childhood in a lab, she was quite obvious to the outside world. Her mother didn't really spend much time with her as she was constantly busy with work and she didn't allow Macaroni to go outside the lab because of 'dangerous entities that prowl the planet'. She lived in a room in the laboratory that was decorated to look like a cosy, blue bedroom for a young child that likes anything space and sky related. She had many plushies of cute creatures that match the same theme, her mother often tells her that these creatures are not as fluffy and adorable in person as they are as stuffed animals. She also had a TV which was connected to a few consoles that was bought from Flookaficles by some of her mother's co-workers. While she liked to play video games, she wasn't too fascinated or engulfed by it, preferring to just play with her toys and occasionally explore the laboratory. If there's one thing she always wanted to do, it was to explore the outside planet. The only way she would know what it looked like was from the lab windows.

From what she sees, it was mostly just fields of fuzzy, off-greens and thick, purple vines that bore food. In rare sightings, she saw animals alien to her roam the field, eating the food from the vines and munching on the green fuzz. Her mother taught her about some of the odd animals, the small, purplish-red rodents were a special type of animal from Earth that were on the brink of extinction. They were called 'Purple Squirrels' by the people of Earth but scientists simply refer to them as 'Squirrels'. There was also a much larger animal that seemed to be friends with someone who looks just like the scientists. Her mother didn't say much to them but said that the person themselves is safe, albeit a bit strange and that it's the creature that should not go to. She told Macaroni that the person lives on a completely different half of the planet but would make rounds around their area to take care of the animals. While the person wasn't an established co-worker for them(since they worked under a different boss), she was seen and treated as one. Macaroni would sometimes sneak things from the laboratory that she's not meant to have in her room. They would range from harmless to 'how did you even get that?'. Because of this, her ability to roam the lab was heavily limited and her access to certain things she was able to go into were now forbidden. She would usually have her dinner from the lab kitchen, eating alongside the other scientists but would be sent to her room to eat if she has done something bad. 

Preteens

She was introduced to a strange baby creature by her mother. She said that it would grow into an agile and sneaky carnivore but, if tamed and trained, can also double as a friend and even a helpful companion. Macaroni was willing to take the responsibility of raising an animal herself if it meant that she could get someone to talk to. She taught how to feed the small creature, giving it a bottle of milk when it was hungry and placing a bowl of liquid for it to drink out of. Her mother told her that, right now, the animal's too small and fragile to play or roughhouse with but can be held and petted with great care. Macaroni was fine with this and was given a mini fridge filled with milk for the creature. She was given the choice to name the creature but she couldn't think of one. She asked her mother if she had any ideas and she told her that it's 'official' name is 'Apollo Space Intellectual' but she knows that a name like that isn't appealing for a child to say. Macaroni eventually came to the decision to call the animal 'Silver' because of the colour of its fur. Silver was a lazy yet troublesome animal, being quite demanding for a small thing. For a week he slept in a cardboard box with blankets placed beside Macaroni's bed; as soon as he was accidently put on her bed, he decided to make it his bed also. After many attempts at getting him to sleep in his box, she finally allowed him to sleep on her bed with her. Using the materials(cloth, string and marbles) her mother gave her, she made some toys for Silver, only for him to play with the raw material themselves. While Silver was a troublesome creature, he was also a great companion for Macaroni(at the expense of her mother and co-workers). At two weeks old, she and Silver were sneaking food from the lab fridge which annoyed the scientists very much.

Late Adolescents

By the time both she and Silver were almost adults, they were finally allowed to go explore the outside of The Recycle Planet. Of course, it was during her mother's science explorations and it wasn't without suspension. She and Silver also had to spend most of the explorations in the router while her mother and her co-workers went outside to gather samples. They were sometimes allowed out of the router, whether to help out with the sample gathering, gather new samples or just to have fun.
