About

Miya (Originally named Kaitlyn at birth) was born in a small village during the rise of the First Order. When she was four, the Order briefly took control of their village and took many of the young children in the village with the intent to raise them as stormtroopers. Kaitlyn was accidentally seperated from her family in the chaos and snatched up by a stormtrooper. She and dozens of other young children were brought back to a base to begin training and brainwashing. They began with giving Kaitlyn a new name, MY-5781. Durning the process of brainwashing the young children, two married First Order officers picked MY-5781 to be a part of their family after their daughter had recently defected. This was a rare exception, though Lucy (one of the officers) was a high ranking officer, and convinced her superior to allow this. She was renamed Miya. While Miya did bond with her two new parents, she did not respond well to the new officer training, and was frequently punished severely. She was forced to continue the process of brainwashing and officer training for three years.

Training and Escape

Miya was punished severely for her ADHD traits while training as a child. Her trainer, Chen, attempted to make her complient and obedient, but she was to rebelious for her own good. She was often locked in dark rooms or shocked for being disobedient during training. During this time, Miya developed a bad fear of being shocked, and her parents could do little to help as her mother had been demoted for physically assaulting Chen. They could not pull her from training or do anything to stop Chen from hurting her. Not long after she turned 7, she was rescued by Ben and another woman. She was taken to a rebellion base where she would be safe and be given the chance to heal.

Rebel Training

Miya spent several years training to do field work and missions. She had to work through a lot of past trauma, but the fear of being shocked never really went away. She began to go along with her mentor on missions to help towns previously affected by the First Order at 15. By this time, the First Order had fallen, and the rebels were rebuilding their numbers and helping out where they could. Miya will continue to train to do field work and missions. She will have to learn to control her temper and not act so impulsively if she is to be a good rebel.

Relationships

Ben [ Friend ]

Ben is a friend of Miya and was one of the people who rescued her from the First Order. He often comes to visit her at the base and catch up with her. Sometimes he'll take her out to go do something fun before dropping her back off at the base.
