Heidi is a character from a series of casual comics I've been making since 2009. She is a fictional species, called a "murg."
She’s from a fictional country called Argrea, raised in the province of Poonst. In current comics, she lives in the capital city, Bismaché, located in the same province. She’s a retired airforce pilot, who serves shifts on the city guard, called the Venischot, which is a government-encouraged vigilante force.
Heidi is an incredibly ornery, caustic person, but she’s devoted to her true friends. She gives her honest opinions and always tries to be genuine with others, which often gets her into more trouble than seems necessary.
She is purple, with green stripes on her ears and tail. The purple is closer to blue than it is to red.

Backstory
Heidi was born and raised in Bismaché, Poonst. Her parents are Uli Huck and Henrietta G. She has one sibling, Josephine, who lives and works in Rühgran.
At the age of seven, she was drafted into the premier Yuliméke, the Murgzt word for military academy. Despite struggling with written exams, she was an adept student and rose quickly through the ranks, graduating from the academy as a sub-squadron leader, known as a Agjupscheimschef.
Heidi was a career pilot in the Lufhan, Argrea’s airforce, which is where she met Felix during his year of mandatory service.
Shortly after Felix left the Lufhan, Heidi was given an honorable discharge. She spoke out against then Jupscheimschef (squadron leader,) Nun Wolke, against encouraging war-baiting with the neighboring nation of Zuchio. She was then awarded a position as Venischot (city guard) to keep her quiet on the whole matter. Though, due to her level of service and aptitude, she likely would have received the post anyways. The Venischot is separate from all Reitd (official federal) police forces and is a purely civilian watchdog group.
Major relationships with other characters
Heidi’s best friend is Felix. While she doesn’t seem to care for him, she actually is often concerned about his overly charitable nature. Heidi gives Felix her honest opinions about the trouble he frequently finds himself in. She is often abrasive in order to hide her concern, however.
Heidi hates Heinrich Knört. She hates his work in the Special Detectives and she thinks he’s a major creep. His crush on Felix is painfully obvious to her. She finds his social awkwardness irritating and potentially dangerous.
Heidi likewise can’t stand Jacob Rehns or Peter Chaikolk, since they often rope Felix into their criminal schemes. As a result of her friendship with Felix, she commonly finds herself involved as a result.
Heidi thinks Dimitri Yetz is a sociopathic brute and has little interest in him. She prefers him to Heinrich and has indicated that she sees more sense in Yetz’s worldview than other members of the Special Detectives.
Heidi is related to the mayor of Bismaché, Venischeimschef (Mayor) Augustus G. How is uncertain. In the comic “Felix & the Election” (not uploaded online; the art has aged poorly), Heidi was one of the citizens running for Mayor as a third party candidate. She is the founder of the “Sick of Political Ads That Won’t Let Me watch Reality Television And Not Care About Politics” Party. Mayor G never comments on this in the comic, however.
