Simon Jäger (サイモン・イェーガー Saimon Yaeger) is a former IT student and an agent for Homeostasis as well as the Tamer of Klaus, Mari, and Reno. (And their reincarnations Baal, Rose and Haigha)

Simon is a young man with short, curly blonde hair, and grey eyes. His natural hair color is black. He usually wears all black and is mostly seen in a black, long-sleeved turtleneck pullover and wide black pants reaching to his knees, fastened with a long belt, long black socks underneath, and black boots with red soles. He wears a Smartwatch Digivice on his right wrist and a communicator bracelet on the left side. Simon also uses a black messenger bag containing a few portable SSD drives, USB sticks, and a laptop.

Simon retains his general human look as a digital lifeform, only changing his pullover to a sleeveless turtleneck top and adding a long hooded black coat with short sleeves. This form tends to glitch from time to time because he thinks it's funny to look at.

Simon is an energetic, optimistic, and confident young man with an affinity for electronics, mechanics, programming, and hacking. He is always trying to see the good sides of the people around him and can't stand when others are fighting. When Simon was younger, his personality was drastically different. Due to being confined to bed for a long time, he wasn't able to make friends and spent almost all his time alone. He was meek and soft-spoken and avoided eye contact.

He has a vast knowledge of computers, mechanics, and electronics of all sorts and loves to tinker around. This knowledge and abilities are used to hack into the numeral side servers as well as to alter and heal the data of his team's Digimon. Simon is a learned System-Electronics Engineer and further studied IT-Technologie and Mechanics simultaneously until he traveled back to the Digital World.

Simon has a bad tendency to tell terrible jokes and pull pranks on others regardless of the situation and has a hard time seeing his errors, but always tries to apologize regardless.

He always felt a little bit detached from the human world and enjoys his second life as a Digital Lifeform.

He feels guilt for accepting Baal's feelings right after leaving Yves, thinking the time passed was too short.
