Personality
A hyper child, a bit of a charmer, but is more of a hopeless romantic. He is super friendly, but a lot of the time he doesn't have a filter, and doesn't think before he speaks. This can cause him say something that can upset people before he would realize what he did wrong. Despite this he's a very positive person most of the time, and tries to be friendly enough. He is extremely hyper, and has a ton of energy, leading to him having a tough time staying focused, but also taking on way too many projects at once to try and give him something to do. He has times where he can miss class from his forgetfulness, but he tries to make up for it when he does.
The only time you would ever see him not being upbeat, is if you ask him about his past. Where then he'd get more quiet, and would probably just try to get out of the situation. And even if he acts like he's the most handsome kid in the entirety of his school, he doesn't actually have a whole lot of confidence in his appearance, and doesn't think he looks good in actuality.

Story
History
Harper was born in a town near Quebec, Canada that consisted of just Kitsune. They lived more isolated, and away from other species, but they managed to make a more technologically advanced society, giving access to internet to all of them. They mostly kept to themselves in the town, trying not to bother the humans in nearby cities, though they must've been bothered anyway.
One day a ton of humans attacked the town. They wrecked a ton of havoc on the town, and killing a lot of the kitsune. Harper's parents had managed to hide him in a closet, where he was able to survive, but unfortunately his parents his parents were killed. Luckily, the headmaster and creator of Monsuta Academia was one of the survivors. She found a young Harper sad and scared from everything, and took him with her husband, and adopted him as their child. With Harper still being very young, he was able to accept him as his parents fairly quickly.
At the School
Later Harper was enrolled in Monsuta Academia when his mom felt he was ready to go out and be social with other monsters again, in a much better environment for him. After joining the school he quickly was friendly with other students, making some quick friends, but also slight enemies.
Harper settled pretty well, getting along well with his roommate, and even getting himself a girlfriend, who he spends most of his days hanging out with.

Almost every monster has their own unique abilites, and each one is unique to each species.
Kitsune Basics
Harper is a Kitsune, based around the Japanese yokai, though with slight differences. They do live a bit longer than humans, and tend to get wiser with age, most of the time. In this world, they're born as a more humanoid form with nine tails. Kitsune have passive higher luck, and tend to give higher luck to those around them.
Transformation
As a Kitsune, Harper has the ability to transform between his human form and his fox form. While some fox forms are larger and more graceful, Harper's is small, but as such he can go and fit into smaller spaces because of that. He can do this transformation at will, and can choose how long he stays in this form. He can also choose how many tails are showing in the form, but typically it's just one for disguise.
Fox Fire
Fox fire is a special spirit like fire that tends to burn more than actual fire, and can linger longer and be in pain longer. Though typically burns tend to fade away without leaving any scars. Harper, being young, doesn't have very good control of these powers, and thus gets scared to use them as he's worried he'll hurt others. He has a lot of burns on his arms from trying to practice on his own.
Learned Magic Books
This is the magic that any student can learn, as they go through the school they can study different magic books that have special abilities on their own
Light Magic
During his schooling, Harper had gained access to light magic. In using it, he can make bright flashes of light, or he can light up a dark area. He can even light up places to a point where there's barely any shadow left. He can temporarily blind people with very bright bursts, but that's not recommended to do as it could cause permanent eye damage. But with more focus, he can concentrate the light into more physical forms, that he can use to defend himself with.

Alfie
When Harper had finally convinced his mom to let him live in the dorm, he was assigned a roommate to stay with him. This happened to be Alfie. The two ended up hitting it off fairly quickly, and became friends, and often the two are seen spending time together. Harper helps Alfie out with adjusting to the school, and also helping him by giving advice when needed. And Alfie helps Harper out with his schoolwork, as well as helping him get all his pent up energy out, in a way that doesn't involve taking on too much work for him to handle constantly. [ Girlfriend ]
Harper and Emi got along pretty well almost exactly the moment they met. The two became fast friends, and Harper found himself getting pretty close to her. He offered to help her out in any way he can. Even if it meant just comforting her in the middle of the night. While the two are really close, Harper finds himself liking her even more than just as friends. Eventually, he worked up the courage to ask her out, after getting her a personalized gift for her birthday. And fortunately for him, the feeling was mutual, so the two got together after that moment. Harper would do anything to make Emi happy, and does whatever he can to put that smile on her face. It's difficult to tell the relationship between these two. Some days get along fine, but others Harper seems to avoid her as much as he can. He seems a bit afraid of her, but would completely deny it if you asked him. Though through their shared link with Alfie, the two end up spending a lot of time with each other, though neither of them would really say they're friends
