Growing up in the picturesque Firefly Valley, Dolce found solace in the rolling fields and soft glow of fireflies during the warm summer months that floated around her house. From a young age, she was always interested in photography, family photos and holidays were some of her favorite moments; always begging her mother to take hold of the camera and snap a few memorable moments. While her mother would beg her to be in the photos, she always declined, loving to be behind the camera rather than the focal point. Unfortunately there were times where she forcefully was subjected to the shutter of the camera, the flash leaving spots in her vision- but she knew that one day these would be moments she would wish to come back to. By the time Dolce began second grade, she was gifted her very own polaroid camera by her beloved grandmother, whom supported Dolce's dreams more than anyone else. The two would take long hikes behind the house after school so the budding photographer could snap a few shots of the local flora and fauna. After Dolce would run out of film, the two would make the trek back to the house and watch as the photos developed and came into view.

Dolce's grandmother unfortunately passed away by the middle of her sophomore year of homeschooling, to which Dolce refused to pick up her camera for years after. She dropped out of all photography classes and attempted to find something else to fill up her time, her grief too powerful to continue what she once thought was her ultimate dream. Years of never picking up a camera soon caught up to her, when one of her good friends from university begged her to take up the hobby once more. It took a lot of convincing on her friend's part, and after finally confronting her grief and regret with her therapist, Dolce made the tough decision to finally begin the road to healing. Picking up the camera again felt meant to be, and after a few test snaps, Dolce rekindled her love for the profession once more. With the help of her friend, Dolce created her own business portfolio, chocked to the brim with photos ranging from landscapes to more artistic and abstract visions. She was easily scouted by a local photography company in the town of Ferncombe, where she now works as a full time photographer for weddings and other special events. To this day, Dolce is never spotted without her camera in hand, or her family album of the memories she and her grandmother created together.
