Gale's Links
Their personalities would clash from the get go and it's unlikely either of them would leave the other alone without provoking the other into the point of battle. Although Gale is an assassin and is generally strategic in taking down his opponents, he does so in normally from behind the shadows and when the opponent is unprepared. His methods in battle are much more straightforward and Jeul becomes a difficult opponent because her methods are much more complex and have evolved from the fact that she is very used to being ambushed. However in their encounter there is no such hidden stab from the back, from the get go they face each other directly and thus gives Gale a lack of his usual advantage. She pisses him off.
Jeul is a con artist and cheat in disposition. She is amused by the fact that he think that he can take her down when all else have failed. The nature of her corruption allows her to go much farther in being the most difficult opponent to deal with. A true predator, Jeul is much much more used to battle than Gale is as is every waking hour of her life. She treats Gale just like any other who she has encountered on her path, but is amused that such an assassin from the dark guild has a partner? She finds this a definite weak point to play with every time they're stuck arguing against each other. Gale amuses her but feels that he isn't an unworthy opponent...he's just...not as good as she is ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (ego over 9000)
Gale is possessive of Icarus. He is his and only his blacksmith. Gale has had an eye on Icarus for a long while now and though they've developed feelings towards each other.... his own ulterior motive weighs on him negatively in the wake of this new relationship.
Icarus is fiercely loyal to Gale, despite the tenuous start and continually confusing relationship. While at first Gale was an open door where there had only before been windows for the blacksmith, Icarus has grown to understand Gale and care for him deeply. Despite this, it concerns him when he considers that Gale has many secrets, and that he truly knows very little about the assassin.
