Nettlekit was born an only kit to her parents, Owlwing and Stumpybird. The two parents had been waiting for moons to try and have a litter but to no avail. That was until they were blessed with Nettlekit. The two couldn't be happier with their russet bundle of fur. Nettlekit as she was growing up was always curious and exploring the camp. At times trying to exit the camp. But the thing that she seemed to excell within, was socialising with her clanmates. She seemed to have no issue with talking to others and making friends. The entire time she always had a cheerful smile on her face.

It wasn't long before Nettlekit, became Nettlepaw. After getting to the age of six moons she was ready to become an apprentice. She stood before her leader, Sharpstar. There he gave her, her mentor. A ginger tabby molly by the name of Tigerdrop. Tigerdrop was a gentle molly, who was rather easy going on Nettlepaw.

During Nettlepaw's apprenticeship, she met another apprentice with the name Petalpaw. The two quickly became fast friends. The two would be found spending most of their time together. Not too long into their apprenticeship Nettlepaw met another apprentice called Antpaw, who soon became part of their group.

Everyday the three apprentices got closer and closer, although between Nettlepaw and Antpaw they were getting closer in a different aspect. Nettlepaw felt that she was falling for Antpaw. At time passed the two started to become even closer, it was clear that the two were crushing on one another.

Throughout Nettlepaw's apprenticeship, her mother and father ended up having another kitten, a small red molly who they named Tulipkit. Nettlepaw was so excited to have a little sister and knew she'd immediately be there for her little sister.

By the time that Nettlepaw passed her warrior assessments she was given the name Nettlewing, for her speed and her hunting technique across the moors. Petalpaw became Petalslip. Antpaw becoming Antshade. By this time Nettlewing and Antshade were incredibly close many cats would whisper how the two would be, becoming mates soon. Even Petalslip seemed to be pushing the two together.

Although after a few moons from her warrior ceremony, the current deputy, Dawnthroat decided that it was time for her to retire to the Elder's den. This left Sharpstar needing a new deputy. Many cats believed that they'd be chosen to be the next deputy for the clan. Although little did they know that the Leader had already decided that he was going to pick a young cat for his next deputy. They were all shocked when they heard Nettlewing's name come from the leader's mouth. As the molly walked over with a skip in her step, the clan around her was murmuring. Some congratulating the young molly, while others were grumbling saying she shouldn't be the deputy of the clan. Nettlewing accepted the role with great honour and excitement in her eyes. As soon as the ceremony was over with she skipped her way to the nursery to tell her mother and baby sister.

As she made her way over she was greeted by her father, who immediately pushed past her without giving her a second glance. At that moment Nettlewing thought that it was a little odd, usually her father was so caring towards her. But he seemed cold and angry. Although she put it to him having an off day. As she entered the nursery, she noticed her mother seemed rather sheepish and hesitant to let Nettle interact with her sister. Again odd.

Nettlewing would later learn about how furious her father was that he wasn't made the deputy, but his daughter who'd just been made a warrior, who'd never trained an apprentice, that she was made deputy before him. She found out how her mother was so conflicted with the situation, she wanted to be proud of her daughter, but she couldn't help but follow in her mate's beliefs. To Nettlewing it seemed that only her sister Tulipkit was happy with the news.

When Nettle became the deputy, Antshade was using this news as a way to gain status around the camp. She would tell the clan about how her girlfriend was the deputy, believing that because Nettle was now the deputy, Ant could do anything she wanted without repercussion. Although when Nettlewing approached Antshade about this, it lead to Antshade shouting and arguing with Nettlewing. Antshade was the one who broke things off with Nettlewing, claiming Nettle was accusing her of things she wasn't doing. Although Nettlewing wasn't sure how to make things better. Now the two no longer see eye to eye. Nettlewing could only go to Petalslip for comfort.

A moon into her deputyship, Nettlewing was on a patrol with Sharpstar and a couple of other warriors. While out doing border patrols it was here they were ambushed by a pack of hungry loners. For the most part they were no match for the tough patrol but for already old and frail Sharpstar, they took his final life from him. Making Nettlewing next in line for the leadership.

Nettlewing makes her way back from the Grove and speaking with StarClan, she comes back with her nine lives and is named Nettlestar. She picks ___ as her deputy, and her first act is making Tulipkit into an apprentice. Her relationship grows stronger with her kid sister, but is never the same with her mother and father. She knows many of the clan don't believe she's the right fit for a leader, but she hopes in time they'll warm up to her.

Strengths

• In Battle Nettlestar has a decent amount of speed and stamina, allowing her to run circles around her enemy exhausting them or confusing them. This makes her equally skilled in fleeing battle.
• In Hunting she's quick and soft on her paws, allowing her to track down rabbits and hares, then quickly chasing them down.
• She's rather sociable and charismatic allowing her to gain allies rather easily, she's rather likable. She's good at gathering information on those in her clan, allowing her to help her clanmates when she can.
• She's skilled in making flower crowns, making them for anyone she believes is deserving of one. Any friends and family of hers likely will have one made for them.

Weaknesses

• She's physically weak. So she's not very good at attacking others and defending herself. Leaving her only options to flee, exhaust or confuse her opponent.
• She's not great at climbing, so she can't catch any prey that runs up trees.
• Socially she sometimes doesn't get when she's being a little too much. She doesn't always grasp when it's time for her to leave a conversation.
• When Hunting or on any patrol, she can be a bit of a loud mouth, wanting to talk to anyone and everyone she can, she's not great when needing to be stealthy.
