Kul T. Leder

A cult leader that wants to summon the darkness to take over the world.
And force people to see the truth.

One day Kul looked up at the sky and watched the sun get swallowed up in an eclipse.
He gazed around and saw what were once simple people, his friends, now monsters and creatures straight out of folklore and nightmares. People said that it was the darkness that brought upon such monsters, but Kul knew better. The sun - the light - was bright; it was blinding. The darkness took away the handicap and showed them all the monsters disguised as them the entire time. It showed them the truth.
But people didn't believe it. They refused to accept the truth, to accept change. So they banished the darkness and celebrated its disappearance from their unlawful and unjust hatred.
But Kul knew the truth.
The light was controlling people, the darkness had been trying to save and protect everyone all along! He spread this word around, and though many people ignored his explanations, some agreed. More and more people joined his cause and soon he started a cult an organization called the Followers of the Eclipse, dedicated to summoning the darkness once again and save the world.

Notes: In my DnD/RP hybrid game I was doing with some friends, we had a level where you fight an entire cult. The minute the dungeon started I came up with the name Kul T. Leder. He was just going to be an NPC, but once I made him I decided to make him the boss for the dungeon because of course the leader has to be the boss! Then someone managed to one hit K.O. him. After the entire script I had planned. He was destroyed by one (1) punch to the crotch. So of course I had to make him a character KEKEKEK.
As I wrote down his reasoning for starting a cult, I realized he sounds like a nice guy with good intentions. He's not, don't worry. I mean, he really does think Roy's a good guy but this is also a cult and he's still an evil cult leader KEKEKEK.

Personality: Just because you run a cult and want to rule the world doesn't mean you can't be fun! Kul is constantly on the move; he can't stand still for too long, he needs to go out and do something all the time. He has a go-with-the-flow attitude, not easily fazed by many situations, or at least not reacting wildly to it.  He has a witty sense of humor and enjoys a good joke now and then. Although he comes off as easygoing, he has a short temper and can get very snappy when upset.

Non-Human Abilities:
- Darkness - No one knows how he obtained his powers - he's not even sure how - but he found himself able to manipulate the element. He finds he's able to solidify the darkness into black lightning or fire, and sometimes he's able to teleport up to a 10 ft distance.
- Drainage - He can absorb people's energy and convert it into his powers, strengthening them. He must, however, be within 2 ft of a person in order to drain them. People who go through this only feel fatigued and exhausted.

Drawing Details: Kul much prefers dressing fancy and professionally. He is often seen in a primarily black outfit with a half cape and matching black gloves and boots. He has a cane he carries around with him. The most important detail, however, is his mask, which is a smooth, black texture that hides every bit of his face. It encompasses his head.
When not dressed like this, he prefers a simple black suit.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- He walks with a cane ever since he was decimated by one (1) chicken.

- He fears said chicken.

- Favorite food is beans. Always eats them. Makes his cult eat them.

- Sacrifices a person twice a year (not including eclipses). 

- Has definitely killed people that have tried to bring down his cult, though sometimes he lets his henchmen take care of it for him.

- Uses Twitter a lot.

- Bought most of his outfit from a garage sale, thought the red ring looked a lot like an eclipse.

- The chest piece is actually a super computer that responds to him and does as he asks.

- He usually only asks where the nearest grocery store is so he can get beans.

- Loves to dance when he's alone.
