A chimera with nothing left to lose

Cleo was born and bred in captivity, on a planet quite a few nebulae away from where he ended up (at the Gambit's Strait deep-space station). He was a failed chimera experiment, though even he does not know the broken-down details of his own personage. It was clear he was slated for being put down, due to the lack of care given to him as he grew older and older-- and as such, he took no chances and fought for escape, committing a plethora of egregious crimes that culminated in stealing a space-faring vessel and warping out of his 'home'-system.

Nowadays, Cleo is the type to be contented with 'the simple things'; if all he has to do for the day is hack into a dilapidated digital system for data scavengers, he considers that peaceful and satisfying. If it isn't obvious, many things others consider immoral or outrageous are of no consequence to someone like Cleo, who has been through so much that he is entirely desensitized.

However... His personality is incredibly fragile because of those experiences. It doesn't help that the choices he continues to engage in do not facilitate healing or change. He does not seek repentance and has not entertained the idea, mostly due to the nature of his somewhat impulsive escape a long time ago.
Cleo is the type that feels justified in his downright aggressive attitude, and will often place blame squarely on everyone's shoulders but his own. Because of his cruel attitude and fierce independence, it isn't often that he engages with others or finds friends. He is completely fine with this.

Trivia/notes:
- The dark patch/markings on his face should always be on his right side!
- He has an affinity for junk food, though he's loathe to admit it, or be seen eating it...
- His signature outfit was stolen from a random person's luggage who had the misfortune of passing away in a hotel within the space station. Cleo also kinda maybe sorta stole the rest of the person's belongings, including their money.
