About
Cassidy Quinn is a college student studying photography with her best friend David Dodson and her best friend/roommate Teresa Nadelbatch. Life was normal for her, until one day, she shielded a child from being hit by an experiment gone haywire. That gave her powers, which she didn’t find out until she arrived home three hours later.
Cassidy vows to never let anybody know but Teresa eventually finds out anyway (and establishes her role as the “guy in the chair”). Still, trouble seems to always find her. She can't help but to use her powers and save people from trouble, leading to her to meet a high-schooler named Chris who joins her in vigilantism. Later on, she is properly recruited by the Admin to be an established superhero. Despite her reluctance, she dons the name “Ultraviolet” and with a group fights side by side defeating villains while keeping her own identity a secret to the public and her other friends.
Power+Stats
Ultraviolet forms purple fire right in her palms and uses it to enhance her physical combat. This fire can be used to create heat without actually setting fire, which is both useful and inconvenient in certain situations. The fire can be shot to push objects from far away, which is her main mode of ranged attack and way to propel herself up.
Trivia
- Unlike her vanilla self, she does in fact have a crush on David, which Teresa and Chris always tease her about.
- She is not an orphan in this universe. Yippee! Her sister, like the original, is also a librarian in the city.
- She has been unanimously elected the team leader, much to her dismay.
- Cassidy and Ivy are cousins in this universe.
