About
A hundred sharp noodles shoot out -- Cassidy’s signature move. With a sassy attitude and a great sense of leadership, Cassidy is a powerful magician who goes by the code name of “Queen.” She lives in the mysterious and magical Kingdom of Loathing and works as an adventurer with her five other friends.
In her early years, Cassidy lived with her parents and her sister, Cynthia, in the kingdom's outskirts. Their home was ridden with crime and constant gang activity, which ended up seperating Cassidy and Cynthia from their parents. The two would go on to live alone, barely getting by to just survive for a full year. Their situation would become even more dire when the Naughty Sorceress took over the kingdom, ordering a hit on any adventurers. Cynthia landed a target on her back for an unknown reason, and the two were forced to flee from the kingdom outskirts.
During their escape, Cynthia ended up getting injured by a few assassins, and the two girls were almost caught -- until a mysterious sorceress saved them. Cassidy and Cynthia were found by Seaside Town residents, where Cynthia was taken away to be treated and Cassidy was sent to a boarding school. The two sisters would not see each other again from then on.
Cassidy had a hard time at school without any knowledge of if her sister or family was okay, therefore growing up to be a relatively troubled young woman. Seeking for ways to outlet her vengeance, Cassidy picked up adventuring and decided to become a Pastamancer, to honor the strange magician that saved her when she was young. Soon enough, she meets each of her five other friends and become a team.
Leaders of the kingdom, the Council of Loathing, assigned quests to the group, each training them for the day they would defeat the Naughty Sorceress. Will Cassidy find her sister and finally defeat the Sorceress? read it all on the literature tab lmao i already finished it

Combat
Cassidy usually uses a combination of her Pastamancery and physical strength during battles. She often casts magical spells to enhance her physical might, being known for using her brute force and fists a lot more than the typical magician.

Cassidy is confident and outgoing, but sometimes to the point of being brash. Her leader voice and personality allows for her to motivate her teammates and imbue them with inspiration, as well as properly command and execute decisions. However, she can often become frustrated when plans do not go her way, and once she reaches that point, will most likely resort to whatever it takes to succeed.
Regardless of which, she does everything to protect her loved ones and herself. She does not like strict rules or being forced to adhere to a strict moral code; she would much rather fight to survive, like she always has her entire life.
Design Notes
- Cape used to be longer, but she cut it for convenience.
- Her eyes are just Like That. It's a goofy fun quirk.

Trivia
- Cassidy was originally written as the archtypical "clinically insane" character before developing into a much more subdued morally gray character.
- Her old design included a more costumed outfit, while her new design is more casual outside of the cape and crown.
- She does most of the cooking in the house.
- Her favorite genres of music are straight girl Italian pop music and overrated K-Pop groups. Other than that, she rarely listens to music (other than David's live performances).
- She has a habit of picking her nails.
- She has an insane alcohol tolerance but also cannot handle caffeine in the slightest.
LINKS
Friends from childhood, partners in crime in adulthood. Cassidy and Teresa went to the same middle school in their earlier days and coincidentally met up on a train ride. Following Cassidy’s advice, Teresa became an adventurer as well and the two have been together ever since!
One day in Seaside Town, Cassidy met David when he tried to pickpocket her as orders from a random man on the road. Even though their relationship started off off, the two have become great friends and partners! Maybe they can be a little more than friends as well… but who can tell? Certainly not them, that's for sure!
Paired together on a quest by the Council, Cassidy and Ava became quick friends in their time spent together. Ava often seeks Cassidy's attention in rivalry to Allison, and Cassidy notices their battle, finding it incredibly hilarious to witness.
Even though Allison is a bit annoying, Cassidy still loves her cousin and always makes sure she’s on her best behavior at all times. Cassidy tries her best to teach Allison how to adjust to the city life, though sometimes unsuccessful. However, to her fortune, she has become the only individual Allison truly answers to.
Tori and Cassidy didn’t meet formally until late into their stories, but they’re still great friends. Since Tori is a picky eater, Cassidy has made it her goal to cook foods that would get her picky friend to expand her palette and try some new cuisine.
Tiffany Mechington, descendant of the renowned Mechington family, will not tolerate the fact that Cassidy’s magic is stronger than her machines. From this spawned a one-sided rivalry with Tiffany constantly trying to destroy Cassidy. Tiffany attempts multiple times without success to eliminate Cassidy, and Cassidy usually pays her no mind.
In Cassidy's childhood, she only had her sister Cynthia to rely on. Cynthia always made sure to protect Cassidy back when she was an undercover adventurer, but she was unable to after they were forcibly separated the day she was injured. The sisters were separated for years until Cassidy finally meets the Naughty Sorceress, whom she discovers was a spirit posessing her sister's body for years! After the Naughty Sorceress's defeat, Cynthia reunited with Cassidy and officially retired from adventuring, now supporting her sister and friends' efforts in their own causes. (avatar by tabbiverse)
Even when in two completely different worlds, Chris and Cassidy immediately hit it off when they met. Their similarities led them to becoming great friends, and even Chris teasing Cassidy like the stupid little gremlin he is. (dubiously canon in the greenflag timeline)
What started off as a rivalry turned into some kind of… friendship, or at the very least a mutual understanding. The two may not know it, but Cassidy is one of Ivy’s descendants!
