A quiet and nonassuming teacher in Arthame Academy, Cassiel wants nothing but the best for his students at all times. While he acts like an untouchable, pure teacher in public, he actually has quite a sharp mouth. However, he tends to keep that part of himself as secret as possible, though there are some people who are known to get under his skin: namely, his brother and a certain bastard king.
While he looks young, he's been alive for thousands of years already. Cassiel was a dove blessed by God, along with his brother, who was a raven. For milennia, the two of them circled the Earth, until Cassiel was caught by a travelling merchant, and locked inside a cage. Lonely and confused, and viewing nothing but the hatred that merchant bestowed on others, Cassiel became jaded, and vowed to always hate humanity -- until a young baker's son took him in and taught him to love once again. (Everything was broken when that baker's son was murdered, however.) Sensing his hate and anger, God took Cassiel and his brother up from the Earth and formed them into angels, where they lived in peace.
God soon realised that Cassiel's hatred was not going anywhere, and sent the two angels down to Arthame Academy, a school for the rich and elite, and told them to teach the students. Cassiel hated it, until he realised he could influence them slowly into becoming better people...
