Noel

Noel is the eldest son of a prestigious family of ice users. The way his parents treat him is a mix of childish spoiling and high expectations, for carrying the family name is a big deal. The way he handles ice magic is considered highly skilled both offensively and defensively, but Noel is not the type to pick a fight, so these are often showcased in school or public matches.

Because of an accident when he was twelve, he was not able to speak for a couple of years. Whether the injury fully healed or not is a mystery, but Noel from them on has been almost completely mute. He makes the occasional surprised noise or a small grunt, yet it appears that saying words is stressful and uncomfortable for him. He has learned to communicate through sign language and miniature ice sculptures that he forms with his hands. Peers have considered him a decent artist.

Personality wise, he's actually pretty friendly if you can get used to the fact that he does not speak at all. It just so happens that his appearance looks rather intimidating, and when he is not trying to be friendly, he can be quite straight-faced and calculating.

He dearly loves his younger brother, Benjamin, and would unhesitantly protect him under any circumstance.
