| About: Jacob was the founder and lead vocalist of a popular rock band from the nineties that separated after his death in the early 2000's, for some reason his ghost now inhabits the body of down on his luck musician Alex. He grew up in a small town in Philadelphia, his mother was neglectful and his father abandoned them, Jacob learnt to play the guitar thanks to one teacher at his school who was like a father to him, he always brought food when they stayed after school hours and tried to help him with anything he needed, when he was nine his mother and him moved to another state and his teacher gave him a guitar as a parting gift, which became his most valued procession. He met Jack shortly after moving and even though they didn't get along at first they eventually became good friends, seeing that Jack was also interested in music and was learning to play the drums, Jacob began going to his house to practice together, Jack's parents were both very enthusiastic musicians who kept a large personal library surrounding the topic, Jacob began taking books from them without asking and putting them back to their place after returning to Jack's house, if Jack's family ever noticed they didn't say anything. When they were teenagers they started playing at local bars and eventually managed to get a deal with a record label after forming a band they called Ferality. He doesn't know how to express his emotions and usually doesn't, everything he feels he expresses with his songwriting which is the only way he knows how to anyway, Jacob would've done everything to secure the band's success even when he had personal problems with some of the members and always thought the band's success was more important than his own life which made him overprotective of it. He had some unhealthy views towards his work, often feeling like his music was the only thing that gave his life value and the one thing about himself that was good. |

Trivia: Most people's reaction after meeting him is saying softly but audibly "ugh". He knows this and takes pride on it Loves his fans with every single ounce of his heart, he might be an ass to work with but he tries his hardest to be as kind as posible with the people that admire him just... from afar. Takes a really long time and spends a lot of money keeping his hair perfect and doesn't let anyone touch it. Cut the sleeves off of half of his clothes, made holes on the other half. Feels most comfortable when singing in front of big crowds or alone at his studio composing. Calls Alex his "meat house" (Alex really really doesn't like this.) Just a regular dude trying to make a name for himself, Jacob helps him by taking control of his body and singing in front of crowds, had they meet any other way they probably wouldn't stand each other but after sharing the same body for a long time Jacob has learnt to tolerate him. He gets very frustrated by Alex's nervousness and thinks that without him he wouldn't have gotten very far in the industry so Jacob tends to push Alex to his breaking point while completely sure he's helping him. They might dislike each other deeply but they also understand the other in a very personal way, eventually they developed a weird type of | Knew each other since childhood, Jack was the first member of Ferality and his most trusted friend even when Jacob didn't always show it, usually acting rather dryly with him, he was never rude towards Jack, unlike the other members of the band who got used to Jacob's unnecessary comments. Jacob was scared by how much Jack cared for him and behind his smug facade, Jacob loved Jack more than anyone else in the world, maybe even romantically but never was able to admit it, not even to himself so into the pile of unsorted feelings it goes. |
Jacob's manager and on and off lover, he was among the first group of people to notice the band had a lot of potential. Honestly Philipp was the only person who could stand Jacob for long periods of time. Jacob knew Philipp was in love with him and used that knowledge to make sure Ferality was always his number one priority while dating him and encouraging Philipp's more unhealthy behaviors, Philipp used it to keep Jacob on a leash controlling almost all his public appearances and economic income, Jacob feels like he owns him everything for being the first person to truly give his work an opportunity and it's thanks to Philipp that he even managed to make a living out of his music, they rewarded and punished each other by holding work opportunities as prices and missing deadlines as punishments. They both have complicated feelings towards each other. | Used to be good friends when Ferality first started but as time passed and Jacob got more aggressive Miguel got uncomfortable and they started drifting apart. By the time Jacob disappeared Miguel was already seriously considering dropping out of the band anyway. Miguel never started fights with him but rather stepped back and felt gradually more tired while trying to calm Jacob down and failing to do it more often than not. |
Noah was one of the few people who called Jacob out on his behavior and it annoyed him to no end, he hired Noah because they needed someone to play the bass before he met Miguel, they had many creative differences and discussions that in time escalated into full-blown fights, Noah stayed because he needed the money and Jacob knew this and teased him for it, knowing that Noah wouldn't attack back (most of the time). It got to the point where he tried burning Noah's house a couple of days before he died, Jacob wonders if he even went to the funeral. | Is very thankful for the way she and Philipp helped popularizing Ferality, they never understood each other completely but didn't crossed each other's lines either. Jacob admired her passion and dedication to her work and although they never considered each other friends they spent a lot of time together planing the videos for his songs, at times getting very personal. Very deep down he envied her for being closer to Jack in a way he never could but never recognized it and all in all Jacob respected both of them enough to bury those feelings as deep as he could. |
