Victoria is a character I've had for awhile. I have made her a bard for dnd (the sword kind not as much the instruments kind) but haven't planned out the details for a full dnd backstory yet. However I have a general backstory which I have used variations of for rp many times! She is a Dashing Princess type.
Victoria is the eldest daughter of a royal family. A noble daughter without much wiggle room to make decisions for herself, not that it ever stopped her. She was very rebellious as a teen, sneaking out, making trouble, and picking up ladies unladylike hobbies. However Victoria is nothing if not extremely ambitious. As she matured she learned exactly how far she could afford to push things before they pushed back and adapted accordingly. Making moves and retreating as needed, she navigated the complex politics of court. No one would ever call Victoria conventional but she soon earned people's respect (or fear). She now has considerable influence that extends past even her own royal title. All it took was a little charm, cleverness, a bit of blackmail, and of course a few well placed bribes.
Her younger brother is slated to be the next king, but she can tell he not only would hate it but she would be better. She wants the crown for herself. Victoria is willing to make it happen even if it means taking on her parents. She does have a soft spot for her brother though and wishes to keep him safe even if he might not take her plans well.
She is also big gay with a great weakness for women.
