Luca is a borderline hedonist - constantly trying to distract himself in some way or another, whether it be food, drink, or other people. He is, to most people's surprise, heavily introspective - he just also hates thinking about his life. Because of this, he's great at parties: he's got the perfect playlist, he's an excellent listener and conversationalist, he's an excellent kisser and a pro at sweet talk. But he's also so deep in his self-pity that you don't really want to deal with him outside of that. You'd invite him to your party, but you wouldn't get coffee with him.

It's not something he likes to show off, but he's pretty intelligent. He loves reading and knows a lot about classic literature despite the fact that he never had to take any literature classes in college. He was involved in a lot of extracurriculars at school and has a little bit of practical knowledge on just about everything under the sun. He's a little bit flighty and inattentive.

Luca is a bit of a social chameleon - more than anything, he just wants everyone to like him, so he's good at adapting his personality to match whoever happens to be around him at the moment. He's naturally more of a chaotic party animal, but he's surprisingly good with introverts; he understands when someone's not up to small talk and can just sit in silence with them. 

Surprisingly, his worldview is built more heavily on logic than emotion. Every decision he makes is rooted pretty deeply in reasoning. Unfortunately, his worldview is pretty distorted, so a lot of his more philosophical/existential reasoning is..... flawed.

He's also a genuinely caring person and can't stand to see his loved ones in pain. He'll always be a shoulder to cry on for others; yes, it is partially in hopes that someone will reciprocate, and he likes feeling useful to others. But he also does just care on a separate level, even if he knows he's not getting anything in return.
