As a true neutral Void is a bystander, watching the world go by as they lurk in the shadows. For them there is no reason to act unless provoked or if it is in their best interest. Without any friends or family they has no one to rely on but themself. Paranoid to a fault Void is always on edge though exudes an aura of calm most of the time. This has caused them to distrust the majority of people they meet, and in turn makes it difficult for someone to gain their trust. When they do Void will become fiercely loyal, transforming into their silent protector. If someone close to them betrays them, it will shatter Void until they manage to pick up the pieces. A deep sense of loneliness fills their heart, a buried ache to belong somewhere. Years of isolation has brought their people skills down to zero. They have no idea how to make bonds with someone and romance is entirely lost on them. That is to say they're not opposed to it, just confused. Mostly nomadic Void spends most of their time picking up odd jobs, even those of the unsavory type. In their mind they need to do what they can to survive, having a strong will to live. Although initially very suspicious looking they will do no harm to those who have not done them wrong, except if it's for a 'job.'

Due to his active lifestyle Void would have muscle if they had a proper diet. Since they struggle to find food they maintain a lean stature and low weight. Standing at 5'6" and weighing in at 140 lb he isn't the strongest person ever but makes up for it in speed and agility. Their stark white markings greatly contrast with their very dark skin. Red eyes that are devoid of any pupils and sclera are always watching for danger. Void's prehenstile tail is about 4 feet tail, getting thicker in width as it reaches their backside. Beneath the cloth that is always covering their mouth is a pair of sharply pointed fangs that only the unlucky get to see. If one looks close enough they could see that Void's tongue is pointed at the tip. Their ears are also slighty pointed at the tip but nothing as dramatic compared to elves. Void's hair can be interpreted as braids or dreads though most of the time a good portion of it is covered by a hood. For a tielfling their horns aren't that large but still manage to stand out anyways. Seeing as they are rather broke they only have the one outfit and never take it off besides when they need to bathe or wash it. They are dmab but in the guild gender didn't really matter and that train of thought still sticks with Void and probably forever will. Androgynous is the perfect word to describe them as they don't really fit into the spectrum of masculine or feminine.

Backstory

Born into slavery Void was bought by a guild of assassins that would buy their assassins young and train them to know nothing of murder. On their first mission they were caught and consequently hauled off into the deepest part of a dungeon. Normally the brainwashing techniques the guild uses forces their assassins to commit suicide if they are caught; but after being seeing one of their cellmates die a slow, painful death because of neglect. Void managed to escape and is now on the run, hoping that they won't be caught by enforcers and their former guild masters. Not having any family to speak of Void is on their own, stealing what he can and squatting in the safest places they can find. The tiefling has made a name for themself - as much as a solo assassin without a guild can really gain. Notorious for their silence and clean excutions Void has managed to attract the intrest of several nobles, each with their own agendas.
The guild they were in use extreme tactics for the prodigy such as stockholm syndrome and abuse - physically and emotionally. Void's tattoos are how the guild 'brands' their assassins so that no matter where they go they will never be able to truly leave the organization. Although slightly expendable the guild does not like losing their 'assetes' considering how much time is invested in them. They also can't have one of their own getting caught and intergated, which is where the fail safe comes in; brainwashing them to commit suicide upon being caught.
