Profile
Basics
Jemi is a skittish, peaceful creature. He lives in a beautiful garden adjacent to a large mansion, spending most of his day lolling about the hydrangeas. While he is shy and afraid of most humans, he trusts those from the mansion, especially the ones that maintain the garden. On occasion they may catch a glimpse of him as he curiously watches them from the bushes, only to scurry away at the slightest chance that he's been spotted.
Much like the hydrangea, he loves the warm morning sun, but dislikes the heat of the afternoon. After rolling around in the morning dew he'll retreat to the comfort of shady spaces, normally under trees or within bushes.
If another animal or creature finds their way into his territory, he tends to watch them from afar until he has a better understanding of their presence there. If he senses no hostility, he will relax and might approach them if friendly. If he senses hostility, he will growl and make himself appear threatening until they leave. He is not very courageous however, so if the threat doesn't retreat, or worse, if it approaches him, he will lash out in fear and possibly harm himself by accident.

Design Notes
General
- The plant that grows from his forehead is a hydrangea. It is NOT optional!!
- He has three pairs of legs: his front, his back, and an extra pair in between
- The middle pair is weaker and shorter. He often doesn't use them for much
- His eyes look like a mix between insect eyes and cat eyes - they're very colorful and pretty!
- His fur is extra fluffy in places and stick out a bit. These areas are usually tinted purple
Accessories
- He can wear (or maybe grow?) additional small hydrangeas around his neck and tail
- Generally does not wear other accessories
Alternate forms
- There's 3 different refs in his gallery:
- His main ref is generally how I'd like him always drawn, which is why it's the first image in his gallery. It's with his usual smol body, almost like a ferret.
- "Floral Grace" is how I'd imagine him if he was drawn to look more mature. This ref can be used is his main ref is too chibi/child-like for an artist's particular art style.
- "Floral Wings" is just a fun concept and play on Floral Grace. Commissioned art should not use this ref unless I've specifically asked for it.
