Mate *****: She's adamant on passing down her family's tradition of creating and gifting jewellery to their mates and offspring, and has already started crafting a small silver horn cuff designed with leaping dolphins that she thinks will look gorgeous on her mate's antler. (hmm) 

Personality: She's loud and and overly honest. She's very enthusiastic about things she likes, and is very loyal to people she likes, willing to speak up against others badmouthing her friends. She can be very judgemental, but is currently working of tamping her judgements verbally, after some friends have expressed their dislike over it. She's emotional, and likes seeking people out for verbal debates when she's bored and wants to be around people. She can act childish, tripping others up for the sole reason that it amuses her, but refrains from doing so to people that she thinks would react badly, mainly targeting outspoken people or her friends.

History: Jaiyana was conceived with the help of a surrogate, as who she considers her mother is barren. When she was still a young, trembling foal, her father was killed while he was some ways away from their living area gathering food by an unknown predator. Because Jaiyana lived in a living space shared by her immediate family and close friends of her parents, the small community immediately banded together in an attempt to soften the blow of her father's death. Jaiyana herself wasn't much affected, or if she was she cannot remember now. Her older brother however, was, and immediately took off when his antlers finished growing in. Her main companions were other foals, who teased her relentlessly about her lionfish fin wings. A tradition her parents passed down to her, was the making of and gifting small items of jewellery to their mate and offspring. She received her ear cuff from her mother and her bracelet from her father. She isn't certain but she thinks her brother received an earring and necklace.

Jaiyana is the youngest in her immediate family. She has never met her father, due to his death hours before her birth. From what she knows, he was attacked by an unknown predator while out foraging for herbs that others believed were for her mother's impending delivery. He never returned and his decaying body was found several territories away a week later. It is admitted in her herd that had it not been for the herd's good relation with all of their neighbours, Habib would have remained missing because until Jaiyana met Noctiluca, no one in the herd apart from her brother usually left the main grounds of their territory, much less the territory itself. From her birth, Jaiyana has never been close to her brother in any way. For as long as she can remember, Ruwaid has always treated her with disdain and unconcealed dislike. She learned early on that he blamed her for their father's death despite the disagreements from both Naaz and Muhwish, and grew up believing it too.

Jaiyana spent most of her time alone, distant from both family and agemates because of her brother's hatred and her peculiar mutations. While mutations were common, her type was not, especially since at that time, her herd lived near the top of mountain peaks with little to no access to any water bodies larger than the occasional puddle that appeared after rainfall. Jaiyana's herd ate more meat than plants, surviving on small lizards and mammals and fighting each other to get to drink from whatever water source they came across. As a foal, the only mutation that showed were her lionfish fins wings, and the others declared such a mutation ugly and useless before promptly excluding her from their games.

Things got better once her ice mutation showed itself, although that only happened once maturity started. Ruwaid was already undergoing maturity when Jaiyana was born, and within a few months, he was fully matured and the first of the herd to leave. The siblings had barely exchanged words since Jaiyana's first attempt at getting to know her brother had resulted in him blowing up and almost striking her. Once her brother had left, Naaz and Muhwish started to pay more attention to her and attempted to get to know her better, Naaz initially occupied with keeping Ruwaid's temper in check. Muhwish had been busy with her own children, who were close to Ruwaid. They had been familiar with Habib, and his death had hit them just as hard as it did Ruwaid, and like him, had chosen to blame Jaiyana for his death.

She doesn't remember her father, but her brother does, and his death affected her brother. How does he act when he returns back yearly? Was he ever close with her? How did her mother and surrogate act after his death?
