• I think it'd depend on their surroundings as well? I mean, Secco is the one with lionfish fin mutes, and I feel that she'd unknowingly pay Secco more attention because of the way she was treated as a foal unless Noctiluca or Arroyo spoke up about it? And like. It'd also depend on where they stay I think? Like will they be nomadic and move around constantly, or stay by the sea, or lake, and stuff?

  I was thinking they's live near the sea and stationary but they don't have to be if you don't want  and yeah I figured he'd be spoiled by his mom

  Mmm if they live near the sea, as their own herd, Secco would definitely grow up to be confident, because his base personality is that of a usual, confident and curious kid. Jaiyana would want both siblings to be close to each other, but I think because she wouldn't quite know how to just short of forcing them she'd get upset when the kids argue, and she may end up constantly supporting Secco? And again, unless someone points it out, she won't realise it.

  Because she wasn't close to her own brother, and her guardians were more attentive towards her brother than her, so she wants to be close to her own children, so she would need to learn how to give them their own space? Lots of boundaries need to be set really. Secco is... Really forgiving though, and if he'll be the first to apologise if Arroyo isn't the type to give in first, and he'll try to get into Arroyo's good graces within a few hours if they argued

  I feel like Arroyo would be like bitter that his brother is favorited and he'd want to rebel and like be a moody rude teen but at the same time he loves his family and doesn't want to upset them so he goes back and forth on it all the time?

  And then we have Secco acting like a rejected puppy when his brother hates him and he'll sulk until Arroyo pays attention to him.  Secco wouldn't realise that Arroyo is bitter until they're almost adult I think, and then he'll get really defensive for Arroyo, and he'll argue with his mother if she chose his side over Arroyo's
  what does Arroyo like doing? Secco is.... Excitable, chirpy, constantly full of energy, and would love exploring their home or playing in the sea, great bonus if he could do it with his brother, but if his brother actually allows him to tag along he'd ditch his activities for Arroyo

  Secco would definitely throw a fit once he realises that there's an imbalance in how he and his brother are treated, and he loves his brother to the point that it'd probably be annoying for Arroyo

  I feel like Arroyo would join him exploring and playing a lot but on bad days he'd go exploring on his own and yell at Secco to stay home, and like treat him like a nuisance. yeah I feel like it would be pretty dysfunctional like one day they are best friends and the next Arroyo would treat him like shit though I'd love for that to change when they grow up and Secco realizes whats happening and defends his brother. Like Arroyo realizes it's not his brother's fault  and starts feeling bad for being so mean when they were growing up and tries to make it up to him in weird ways?

  Dysfunctional? 0.o that's pretty much my relationship with my sister  although I'm not nearly as sticky or defensive with her, and she doesn't like me more because of our age gap than our parents preferences. I can just tell though, that Arroyo will have a hard time interacting with other sks because Secco would get jealous and pester for attention, unless he learns to live with other sks and not just attach himself like a limpet to his brother
