A very rich and relaxed woman who, over the years, has gathered quite a harem. While she could fight, her focus has always been on non-combat skills. As a young woman, many men would offer to fight the monsters for her, and she thought, why not let them? In the meantime, she gathered wealth from her cooking and fishing (the herblore was just for fun).
She gave birth to Ward Lance, but knowing that this wasn't an ideal environment for a child, set her for adoption. Once Ward Lance would actually meet her birth mother, they got off on the wrong foot, as E.B.'s leaving of the dirty work to her men contrasted to Ward's independence and honor code. Despite Ward's wishes, E.B. would get to meet her granddaughter and team up to find her father.
