An uncomfortable air festered around her family due to her disappearance.  A girl never truly "Dead" nor "Alive" and only speculation could give her family hope.. or maybe an even worser fear. It strained the family jumpstarting multiple "betrayals" within the family and Spawning the  Than Trung, Cursing them all.

(Than Trung is a malicious Vietnamese spirit in the form of a black bird/red beak or a bird headed human. They torture both dead and living members, torturing the newly dead to get information on the living family members, to torture them and have them follow after as well. 

It's translated to "The death" making it so it could also be the Vietnamese equivalent of death itself haunting families and loved ones. It's also associated/symbolic of "betrayal" in the family which means all sorts of things in family relations.)

Somehow.. that bird and her had become one.  Much of her sinister nature is unpredictable and unknown if its due to the malicious mind of evil sealed within her, an evil stealing her image or if it really is her..

During a final confrontation, the Than Trung was sealed by sacred blood, and so far she seems to be doing just fine.....
