Unis is a very mysterious and jaded man who only speaks when needed, is a bit stale with self-expression, and can only speak with a blunt attitude. He rarely thinks of anything without a pessimistic lens but tries his best to be loving, positive, and value all life even if the world tells him otherwise. It's an undying will of him to be selfless and kind... People can never understand this from him though due to people being naturally intimidated by his presence and overbearingly non-reactive demeanor..
Unis has had a saga of different careers in his life, some careers of his interest that he would be forced to give up, and some that he despised, in the end, he was blamed for a crime. Was he wrongfully accused? or was a man who snapped and committed a terrible act? Regardless of what happened, Unis was unable to respond to the world without the usual indifference, which resulted in his conviction. Unis has gotten used to the cycle of the reformatory program and is pretty skilled/well-informed in dealing with the most dangerous of irregularity’s and psychos. He's more normal than any other criminal but maybe that makes him a bit scarier to some, they could be right, they could be wrong. Who knows!
He had accepted that he and his half brother would forever be estranged due to a lot of external factors beyond him just being a sinner, but one day he discovered his niece had been missing for a long while now. His concern would motivate him to finally confront Khuong after all these years, only for a certain tragedy to occur. As he awoke he would have no memories of what entailed his demise. Suspiciously, he was immediately contacted by Lamia to take care of her children, as Khuong was now missing. Lamia offered to let him stay in their house with Hal's permission. Unis, like always, had no objections and took the role of Waki and Nux's unofficial guardian.
A man slain by his own niece fused with a malicious spirit. In his final moments, his sacred blood managed to seal the evil spirit within her.
Despite sealing the spirit, the natural abilities of the Than Trung to warp the desires/emotions of the dead and allow them to wander still seemed potent enough to reach him long after death.
Unis's unmoving corpse started to hear dark whispers and frantic scrambled words that he could not understand were his own voice. He jolted awake in a cold sweat in the same place he was slain, as if it was a bad dream he can't remember ... but his new appearance proves that something most certainly occurred..
Even after death not much of his life had changed, just living passively and tending to his duties. Surely, Unis is an admirable man, not allowing himself to be warped by petty desires.. or is something festering and ever looming, waiting to devour?
