Brown eyes locked with bright blue, the woman opening her mouth to say something before getting flustered and biting her lip in her nervousness. It was easier to talk to someone- when you weren't looking at them, so that's just what Four did. She turned her head away and gazed down at the ground as anxious hands fiddled with the ends of her dress. Really the only people she could talk to 'normally' were her siblings. "Uhm-" Her voice comes out quietly, as it always does for the mousey girl. "Thanks for earlier, I appreciate being thought of." Sean had taken to the girl out to a party after she had off handedly mentioned not having been to one in a very long time, how nice of him.

A reserved blue gaze makes itself over to Odessa's face, studying it. The first thing he catches sight of, as to be expected, is the grotesque exposure of her inner jawbone and teeth on an otherwise flawless, pretty face. He's seen several gore-centered movies that could explain through fiction why she appeared this way, but to no avail does he consider of any of them. Rather, he takes a quick glimpse over her head, double checking to see if she's accompanied by anyone. She apparently had quite a handful of information about him, ranging from the lesser important, public knowledge of his name to the more private feed of his double, murderous lifestyle. The last thing he needed was being setup by some kind of investigator.
Whilst she grows closer, he loosens his tightened posture and focuses his attention in on her eyes rather than the blaring mishap of her features. Both hands hang at his sides, relaxed and unconcerned. If she was as heinous as she was painting herself out to be (and not an actress pretending to empathize with another killer), then he could only hope she wouldn't take advantage of his ability to remain open. Granted, if she did; he had full confidence that he could handle her around or away. He did have the muscles for it.
"Are you confessing to eating bodies?" Though he smiles as if he's clueless, there's admission of catching onto her inquisitive approach in the highlight of his eyes. This is his version of being playful, and yet keeping it safe for himself.

This was the third time Black had seen the perfect baseball player asshole again, and God, did he want to fucking scream every single time. He fucking hated the son of a bitch, all because he lived in a perfect little world with no pain and no misery, with everything he could ever want. Black had none of that. He had to deal with his own pain, as well as see people fucking die almost all the damn time, their own pain that he inflicted, poison, blood, vomit, corpses. He didn’t have to see any of that.
