02 — Personality
Basic edgelord. He's grown to be a bit of a pessimist due to the chaos around him, but he experiences a wide range of emotions. He fluctuates between these emotions very quickly, so others see him as a bit strange. He doesn't get out much and isn’t very social or good at socializing.
He used to be fairly quiet and perceptive but now he's not afraid to speak his mind. he doesn't get much out of lying or keeping his mouth shut anymore. He can seem aggressive but he's not strong enough to be a real threat, so he has to think and use his words as a weapon.
Generally cautious but will overstep boundaries if the tradeoff is beneficial. He is apathetic to those he's not familiar with and is not afraid of manipulating them--nor is he easy to manipulate (he’s very cautious)--but he has a kind soul despite his actions and personality. fairly insecure and will admit to his flaws. he’s still not a good person, and only really cares about himself and his siblings.

03 — Background
I will not spoil too much but here is some information
Due to complicated relationships with his mother and the king of the city, he, his father, and brother live in a remote location to the forest: they are foragers, hunters, farmers... honestly just doing what they can to sustain themselves. It is a cozy home where Atler taught them how to read and write--he comes from a decently well brought up family--and the boys often read to pass the time away though neither are keenly interested in it. More often than not they played near outside their small cabin where Rowan enjoyed hunting for insects and playing with them. Atticus found his obsession with bugs strange, but he didn't hate them. He actually grew to like em a bit because of Rowan!
The main events of Entropy set off when Rowan, Atticus, and their sisters (whom live with their mom Glen) reunite for the first time in years. Rowan, Lush, and Spirit were 14 and Atticus was 11 then. An incident occurs which not only puts the children in danger but separates the family even more, while Rowan and his sisters have to find a way to fix it, while Atler and Atticus are forced to return to the town.

04 — Relationships
brother
Not blood related, but very very close. mpst of their lives have been spent together and for the most part they are eachothers only friends. They enjoy teasing eachother a lot... despite their sibling bickering they love eachother dearly.
Father
They get along fine, but their relationship could be better. Bit of typical teen and parent complications is all... They also care for eachother dearly though not as close as Rowan and Atticus are. Atler has raised Rowan for his entire life, but Rowan wish he would grant him the ability to leave home sometimes... he really wants to make friends and more importantly see the rest of his family. They have grown distant since the incident.
