I am alive in the middle of the woods, turning into dirt, sun on my skin

Heidi is a forest creature from an undisclosed part of Canada who has intense runaway tenancies.

He's a sucker for films about breaking the rules, and he's got a thing for 7-Eleven raids during night time. He writes poems, makes daisy chains, and falls in love with kind souls.

Heidi tends to be outside or with a window open at all hours of the day and night. He wakes up at 5 a.m., naps sometime around noon, and closes his eyes to sleep a little after midnight. His fur is well-kept despite his frequent visits to the dense woods. It's light and smooth - longer fur feels like fine paintbrushes, and shorter fur feels like velvet. He's cloaked in a faint scent of maple. His eyes have a permanent golden-hour glow, and his pupils refract light at certain angles.

Heidi's favorite place to be is a part of the woods where the wind dies down and the sun can peek in. He rests on a bed of moss and watches whiteflies dance in and out of the streams of light.
