Kuru
- Very pale, almost white skin, is made out of resin
- Dark short hair, is synthetic and feels rather rough
- Flowy and baggy clothes, is always barefoot
- Has ball joints, moves very stiffly and has limited mobility
- Face rarely changes expression, features look hand painted
- Eyes are made of glass, can move around but can't blink
- Can't seem to open mouth, is almost all the time closed
Kuru doesn't seem to have much of a personality. Usually quiet and still in his tent, he rarely seems to keep a conversation going besides his readings. He seems to judge everybody that passes him, following them with his eyes.
If anythig, the only sort of personality you'll get from him is bitterness it seems. He will hyperfixate on whatever coworkers and patrons he doesn't like and he will try to make their life hell. Sometimes he's seen smiling when his shenanigans go according to plan.
Kuru's history is somewhat blurry, as he doesn't recall quite well what exactly happened. He does know he used to belong to a doll collector that was also interested in the occult, so he figured his new sentience came from a ritual gone wrong. After his owner discovered the fact, he decided to use him as his "minion" and to have some help for more controversial and dangerous rituals. During this time he learned everything he knows about fortune reading and soul collecting.
From that point, once again, his memory becomes blurry and he can't remember much besides his owner dead on the floor, as well as a strong thirts for human souls. Grabbing their tarot card pack and crystal ball, they snuck out of the house and headed in the direction of the gentle hum of the carnival.

- Kuru's movement seems to work by horror game doll logic, and only seems to move when nobody is looking or during the night.
- He's very still during the day and sits very stiffly.
- His joints squeak when moved.
- Kuru is known to have punted a child once to try to kill it and steal it's soul.
- He's able to float in water and levitate, and his head, feet and hands are removable.
- Kuru has Ken doll anatomy, no visible nipples, groin and barely defined fingernails and toenails.
- In true cursed doll fashion, he has limited ability to mess with his environement.
- Kuru keeps the souls he captures in his crystal ball.
- Being a bjd created by a well known company, he keeps his certificate of authenticity in a pouch by his table.
