Originally he was a Demon that appeared in the form of an Angel that spoke in Mysterious ways but he was turned into a Human by a witch that swore revenge on him - The life as a Human didn't last very long though as he came into contact with Bethsaida Bernkastel who eventually turned him into a Vampire, this allowed him to regain his original powers with the only downside being that his mood has been utterly ruined ever since then.
He hasn't smile since the day he was turned and says that, "I have never felt this miserable in my entire existence... This feeling of emptiness in my soul... the missing beat of my Heart, and the coldness of my skin... It feels suffocating." - He craves for any type of affection and warmth, but refuses to reach out. It's been years since he last left his home and his only consistent contact has been Bethsaida, who sends him letters every week.
