Matilda is a mysterious and amnesiac girl who was said to be exiled from her kingdom not long ago. She is the first person that the lapagi Circle met in his journey to find the so-called Arcane Lord. Being friends with the lapagi, she relies on him the most, yet her sealed powers tell another story…
Matilda appears to be cursed by Atholio, a mysterious entity that is known to awaken at a certain period of time in order to possess its host, using them as nothing but a puppet. It appears she has Atholio bound to her soul for an unknown period of time.
Despite being amnesiac, Matilda is a kind and gentle-hearted girl. She often relies on both herself and Circle to never give up on fighting, no matter what the cause and fate would be for both. Matilda often thinks about herself, whether it be what happened to her real parents (If she has at all), what that ‘kingdom’ she was ‘exiled from’ looked like, and why she has the entity Atholio bound to her.
However, due to her amnesia, she can only remember the following:
- She was cursed by Atholio during her childhood.
- Her full name (Matilda Franz Reginleif).
- She was born on May 11th.
- Matilda was ‘exiled’ from her ‘kingdom’, and has remained in that state since.
She is also naive and idealistic, which often leads her into being lost beyond her own thoughts. Nevertheless, she pleads to remain strong as long as she can.
When Atholio takes a toll on her life, she loses all of her emotions, and is forced to turn her back against Circle. Dark markings grew on her body, and her right eye turned red. In this state, the only option she has is to kill Circle, but despite this, it never happened, as the lapagi freed her from Atholio.
After Atholio was cast away from her soul, she remained the same way as before, except her optimism was drained away, being left with melancholy and pain to her spirit. She also started to wear an eyepatch, due to the fact that her right eye remained red in colour, and it kept reminding her of the time she spent having her soul bound to Atholio. The only one who can see her right eye in this state is Circle.
- Matilda dyed a portion of her hair red to better identify herself.
- It appears that Matilda seems to be eating non-poisonous berries, and hunting animals (Such as deer) for food during her 'exile'. She probably did that to maintain her hunger.
Not a lot is known about Matilda due to her amnesia, but she was said to be exiled from her kingdom a long time ago, and all she was left to do was to find out who her parents were, and plan to reunite with them. However, Atholio took a toll to her life, and was left bound to her soul till this day.

A travelling Lapagi. He was the first person that Matilda ever met. He often relies on her, and here courage to stay strong.
Mathilda has been cursed by this entity for most of her life, up until the point when Circle freed it out from her soul. For a brief period of time, she was possessed by it, being forced to attempt killing Circle.
Although Wesley befriended her 10 years ago, she doesn't seem to remember much about him at all, but it wasn't until the whole Atholio incident, when things took a toll in her life. despite this, he began to renew his friendship with her.
