The Edefeus genus is a well-known spellcaster family distinguished by their powerful ancient bloodline and raw natural talent. Zacharias Edefeus — a very gifted wizard no doubt, eagerly studied the word of magic and followed in the footsteps of his ancestry. But left the former Edefeus Household and settled in an old family house after he tragically wounded his sister during a family tradition duelling session. Scared and ashamed, he swore he'd never return, sealing his life away within the quiet walls of his new home.

Overview
After a duel gone wrong with his sister, Zach used whatever money his family had saved away for his studies to go into hiding. He'd tainted his family name and reputation because of his own emotions. Mostly he keeps to himself in the quiet town he's settled in, so much for his neighbours would likely refer to him as the Local Hermit. That's before he meets Horace, who encourages him to try and be better every day. Even as troubled as he is, he can't help but allow Horace's own positive outlook impact his own attidute.

- Zach is indisputably one of the tallest major characters, with his height of 6′3″ just under Constantine.
- Notorious fast food customer, achieving the dad-body status in his early 20's like a champ.
- Despite being raised in a proper clean freak household, Zach's willingness to maintain any form of tidiness dramatically declined over the period of two years spent alone.
- Confirmed bottom of the pair, verse but very unlikely, he seems to be fond of Horace's sharp fangs and rather rough methods he normally has to request. Also allowing Horace to be his personal juice box.
- Zach's wand is a solid sizable ebony wood wand with post-engraved magical seals honouring the object. It has an ornamental hilt with embroidered leather. The wand itself seems to possess a blueish tint to its wood colour and its tip looks worn-out through extensive usage. This wand was specifically crafted for Zach and Zach only and seems to reflect his personal life through its durability.
- Zacharias channels his magic in the form of a sterling blue lightning. Its essence is likened to dynamic outbursts of electric charges. This form of magic is hard to tame due to its chaotic nature, it's a genetic deviation limited to the members of the Edefeus genus. Magic overload usually creates blue sparks at the tips of Zach's fingers.
- When a spellcaster experiences emotional turmoil, it ususally leads to overcharging and frequent uncontrollable surges of magic. With the combination of turbulent emotions, reckless decisions and the lack of ability to keep calm inevitably results in tragedies. Same case of emotional distress caused Zach to redirect his magic at Amelia, his sister, whom he hurt in the process. This accident led Zacharias to flee his former household.
- Zach's assigned magical familiar is a common raven (corvus corax) named Bran. Familiars usually reflect their masters' personalities or fill in for what they lack. Ravens are misunderstood mysterious animals associated with bad omens, warning others with their deep croaks, soaring through the overcast scavenging and hunting for survival. they’re also among the most intelligent birds known to man.
