A mysterious blade....it hums with vitality.
An angel who has been trapped on the mortal plane.
Before his capture, he often chose to take the form of powerful holy swords to be wielded by worthy souls in times of great need. Once his power was no longer needed he would slip away from the steel and return to the heavens leaving nothing more than a pretty, but otherwise ordinary sword in his wake. The swords he possessed came to be known as Radient Blades, and were coveted for their supposed blessed power.
He was captured and bound inside one of the Radient Blades by the decendent of a king who won his throne by the holy power of a Radiant blade. The decendent gifted the Radiant blade to a man with something to protect, and in the moment of the man's greatest need, when the angel blade showed it's true power, the decendent sent a thief to steal back the blade and deliver it to a powerful mage who bound the angel's spirit to the steel.
Sirius is yet unaware that his other half, an angel lord by the name of Ino, blamed the innocent man from whom the blade was stolen, and killed him, causing Ino to become one of the fallen, and inadvertently inciting a war that forever changed the fate of the world.
Lifetimes spent under the command of generations of humans using his power for their own gain has left him tainted. Forced against his will to shift the tides of fate, his power has won wars and toppled whole civilizations.
By the time Ino finds him, Sirius would rather cease to exist before he could be used by humans in such a way again. Sirius doesn't have much hope that the curse that binds him can be broken, and has begged Ino to destroy the sword, and his soul along with it, more then once...
