Mar of the Progeny, Gen 2 of the Offsprings

Nobody in the world could care any less than Mar does. He encourages unenthusiasm, disinterest, boredom and detachment. As the god of apathy, Mar mostly stands around being a big loaf all day long. Alternatively, he gets himself into somewhat dangerous situations so his mother, Louisa, had to instate a policy that he wouldn't go off wandering into any of the dangerous environments of her kingdom, the Cold Sea. But no matter what kind of situation Mar is in, he always has that same blank and somewhat dissatisfied look on his face. While his hunchback makes him look like a brute, Mar is mostly harmless. In fact, he's so not emotionally attached to anything that when he was given a very girly name, he just said "eh, sure," and went with it.

In Mar's presence, people begin to not care about anything in particular. They may feel as if they are in an emotional haze and simply going through the motions of life. Mar tries his best to stay away from people who are depressed and prone to dissociation. His energy is less sadness and more "welp, time for another day in my boring life." He's really not that interesting of a person, and only a few people can really get him to open up about his feelings. But most of the time he's really just feeling meh.

Like his mother, Louisa, Mar represents the Cold element. He doesn't wield the element as deftly as his mother. Rather, he has incredibly numb senses that allow him to get through basically any kind of situation. Fire doesn't bother him, pain doesn't bother him, an itchy bug bite doesn't bother him. He's super resilient and can bounce back from any hit.

Mar may seem careless, but there is one person he does care a lot about - his cousin and counterpart, Theresa. He looks out for her well-being and makes sure that she has a shoulder to lean on.
