Despite all of the tragedy and hard times in his life, Yuki is a rather optimistic and happy kid. He almost always has a smile on his face and tries to believe that things will work out okay in the end. He also tries to believe in the best of people, even though his father makes that difficult.

Description

Average at 4', Yuki has a skinny, typical child build with a sunkissed tan. His hair is short and black. He has deep eyes with dark lashes and almost always has a smile on his face.

Wears casual, modern clothes, typically t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers, has no preference on color.

Background

Yuki's mother passed away from illness when he was 2 (his brother 10), her death caused his father to drink and turn abusive, running off when Yuki was 6. Yuki has been int he care of his brother since then and does his best to help how he can, which normally involes doing chores around the house since he's too young to get a job and Kiyoshi wants him to focus on school instead of trying to earn money.

During the four years between his mother's death and his father's leaving, Yukio would come home, get drunk, and get into fights with Kiyoshi. No matter how much Yuki begged their father to stop hurting Kiyoshi, it never worked. Sometimes the man would even raise his hand to Yuki, but his brother would always get between them and take the beatings himself. Seeing his brother hurt in his place has caused a lot of guilt in Yuki, though Kiyoshi tells him he has nothing to feel guilty over.
